Principal's gleeful reaction after handing over graduation degree to his son on stage is priceless

Graduation is one of the most crucial milestones in a student’s life. Every child looks forward to wearing regalia and receiving their certificate after completing their long-term studies and life as a student. The event holds symbolic importance in the lives of students and parents as well. It marks success, completion, a new beginning and so much more, therefore, parents cannot wait to celebrate the same with their children. One such overjoyed parent was filmed on the graduation day at the Fletcher Academy earlier this year.

However, along with being a proud parent, the dad witnessed his son’s graduation as another important figure, which caused a double celebration. It is mostly traditional that the principal or head authority hand over the certificates to students on their graduation day. The ceremony is carried out with much respect and grandeur in the presence of loved ones who are seated. However, for one student at Fletcher Academy, things were a little different. As the young man went up to the stage, the principal was there, waiting to hand over the certificate to the student.

As soon as the formality was done and the regular picture was taken, the principal channeled his inner father, took out his phone and like a proud dad, took a selfie with his newly graduated son. The text overlay read, “When your dad is the principal.” Sure enough, the dad took complete liberty of being the principal and used his position to capture a precious moment as the father and educator of his son. He immediately completed his formal role and ensured he didn’t miss out on his part as a dad. The father-son duo smiled brightly and the quick action and change in roles were simply perfect.

The rest of the crowd laughed wholesomely and cheered the father-duo on as they got their picture. The principal went viral for striking the perfect balance as a parent and educator and it couldn't have been more wholesome!
