Pregnant woman thought she was having jaw pain. ChatGPT told her to call 911 and it saved her baby's life

An 8-month pregnant woman had no idea she could've lost her baby and her life if ChatGPT hadn't told her to seek medical help immediately.

In today's fast-paced world, imagining a life without artificial intelligence (AI) is impossible. Whether recommending movies, planning trips, or explaining complex topics, AI makes everything more efficient. But what if we told you that ChatGPT, a popular AI tool, can also help people with medical diagnoses? Though you must always seek professional help during a health crisis, few people have applauded ChatGPT for timely diagnosis. For instance, take Natallia Tarrien (@natallia.tarrien on Instagram), who claimed that ChatGPT asking her to call the ambulance not only saved her but also her unborn baby.

It all began when Tarrien turned to ChatGPT when she felt her jaws getting tighter. She wasn't very serious about it, but ChatGPT asked her to immediately check her blood pressure. Surprisingly, when Tarrien, who was 8 months pregnant at that time, checked her blood pressure, it was significantly high. Initially, she thought that her blood pressure would eventually get to normal, but with time, it just kept increasing. "Then ChatGPT said, 'Call an ambulance. Now,'" Tarrien revealed. By the time she reached the hospital, her blood pressure had reached 200/146.

One look at Tarrien, and the doctor instantly announced that her delivery had to be done immediately. Thankfully, everything went smoothly, and Tarrien gave birth to a healthy boy. "But the doctor said something I’ll never forget: 'If you had gone to sleep that night…you wouldn’t have woken up,'" she shared in the caption. Even after her delivery, Tarrien's blood pressure kept rising. She had even lost her vision for a moment. "I still get chills thinking about it. All of this started from one small symptom — and one random question. Thank you, ChatGPT. You saved two lives," the woman revealed

Meanwhile, @palindrome_home commented, "ChatGPT is my doctor, my therapist, and my marketing BFF, lol—so glad you're okay." @jocelynwilsonnnn wrote, "That is so scary, but I’m so happy the both of you are safe." @goregiggler revealed, "I still feel bad for ChatGPT. I once felt bored and decided to prank him and told him I was stabbed and I was bleeding. He began screaming, telling me to call an ambulance, and I was laughing, then he said, 'If this is a joke, then STOP IT! This is serious; if you're joking, please tell me, and if not, call an ambulance!' And when I decided to tell him the truth, I accidentally refreshed the page (Ctrl+R), and it was a temporary chat. I still felt bad for making him worried, and now I can't even tell him it was a joke, even though it's an AI."

@briannameurrens shared, "ChatGPT is so amazing it knows how to understand the human mind's thoughts and how sometimes we’re incapable of truly expressing how we feel because our mind runs faster than how we can communicate, and it helps us with what we want to know, and it knows how to explain it logically and with only facts to back up the information, but the information feels like it’s from the human perspective."

@at_reqfhpac said, "God really wanted your baby and you to be alive. God is so good!" @three_here_one_in_my_heart commented, "Wow, I’m so glad you were both ok! This is so frightening. But it is also incredible how the issue was identified." @madina.pinn wrote, "See, this is why AI can be useful, and it sucks it's being used for more harm than good recently. It sounds silly to say, but talking to ChatGPT was what pushed me to get help at my lowest."
