Pregnant woman renovating her house makes an amusing discovery about her husband's wardrobe

Quite a few people find surprising things when they deep clean or renovate their house. Most of the time, it might be enormous amounts of dirt, but on rare occasions, people find things that make them question everything they have known so far. A woman made a similar shocking yet hilarious discovery in her husband's wardrobe when they were renovating their house for their new baby. The woman named Freya–who goes by @richard_and_russell on TikTok–took to the platform to share her strange discovery.

"We are renovating our house and this is what I found in my husband's wardrobe," the text overlay read as the woman showed a long line of her husband's shoes. However, there's much more to the story. "It is a pretty big mess, but this is what I have now found about his wardrobe," the woman stated while showing shoes in a variety of shades and prints. "And again, he 'needed' new trainers," the woman emphasized as she continued taking people through the never-ending line of shoes. "Do you know what really got me? I don't know if you can see it here. That's three of the same shoe," she exclaimed as she showed three pairs of black shoes with white accents that looked identical.

The line of shoes snaked around the wardrobe and the door and continued outside. She kept going around the doors, but the line of shoes wouldn't end. She also pointed out how one of the pairs didn't even have shoelaces. "He definitely wears shoes with shoelaces," she joked. "Honestly, 58 pairs!" the wife expressed. In the caption, she wrote, "To put this into context, I have 10." In an interview with Newsweek, the couple, Clint and Freya, revealed they are about to have a baby in a few weeks.

"I knew he had a big shoe and clothes collection, but when I started to get them out, I didn't realize quite how big! He also really likes beaten-up old shoes, as you can probably see," Freya explained. When she asked her husband about all the shoes, he responded that he just loved shoes. However, he did clean out his wardrobe. "He has now trimmed down his collection, but not by much. They now are spread across three storage boxes and I'm convinced he hasn't even opened one of them since they went in." The video received more than 137k views. People took to the comments to ask about the interesting shoe collection.

How else could a man appreciate color?"
