'Daddy was talking a lot to the dance instructor,' the daughter said
A dad who never misses his daughter's dance lessons sounds like a dream, but not one woman's husband. Crystal Grace (@crystaloutloudd) shared a story submitted to her by an anonymous Rancho Cucamonga woman on October 25, 2026. The 39-year-old woman was pregnant with their second child. She thought her husband was being a devoted "girl dad" by taking their 4-year-old daughter to her dance classes every time. But one comment about dinner from her daughter revealed the truth behind his "dedicated dad" act. The video had 9,603 views, 730 likes, and 130 comments.
The woman and her husband had been married for 12 years before they decided to have children. She was 35 years old at the time, and he was 36. They put off having children because they wanted to focus on their careers, become financially independent, and do everything they wanted before they took on the responsibility of being parents. She thought they were happy with what they've built so far, but she was wrong.
By the time their daughter was four years old, they enrolled her at a local studio for ballet and jazz. "My husband basically began to say that he wanted to take our daughter to all her dance class...and he was just so involved." She thought little of it and admired his desire to be a "girl dad." At this time, the woman was also pregnant with their second child and was grateful that her husband took on the responsibility of dropping their daughter off and picking her up from her dance classes.

Their daughter was at the dance school for a year, and slowly, the woman started getting hints from her own daughter. "[She started] to tell me, 'Daddy was talking a lot to the dance instructor, that they had gone to a late dinner after dance...when you were still at work,'" the woman recalled. When she confronted her husband, he would say their daughter was lying or that she exaggerated what actually happened.
She had a feeling something fishy was going on, but it wasn't until she found out the dance instructor was pregnant that sirens began blaring in her head. "I was thinking there's no way this could be even worse than what I'm thinking, that she could be pregnant at the same time that I'm pregnant." She was in denial because the instructor was married with children who worked at the studio.
Two months after she gave birth, she found out through the instructor's husband that his wife had been cheating with her husband. There was a high chance that he was the baby daddy. "He wanted my husband to submit a DNA test to know if the baby was his or not because he wanted to leave his wife." When she confronted her husband about it, he admitted to having an affair but was sure that the baby was not his. Apparently, the instructor had been sleeping with several dads from the studio. But as luck would have it, the baby ended up being her husband's. However, the most surprising part was when Grace said, "He did end the affair, and we did end up staying together."

Surprisingly, some people find ways to move forward with their partners even after they discover their infidelity. A 2026 study by Kathleen Nickerson found that 75.5% of partners involved with another individual ended their affair and reconnected with their partner, while 79% of people who were cheated on continued their relationship with their partner. As for the woman's husband who impregnated another woman, a study by Lindsay Monte for the US Census Bureau in 2014 found that 15% of men had biological children with more than one woman. 25% of these fathers with minor biological children did not live in the same house as all of their biological children.

Viewers were shocked to hear how the woman's story ended, and some seemed to think that she blamed herself for her husband's actions. @rachelllrachelll commented, "I’m sorry this happened to you. It’s very wrong. But you can try your best not to let things 'get as bad as you did,' but if someone wants to cheat. They’re going to cheat. There’s really nothing you can do to stop it or to try not to let it get bad. It’s going to happen regardless of what you do." @maricela90988 wrote, "Was with the story till she finished it, but I guess we all have our way of dealing with things. But if he did once, he will do it twice."
