A sweet note from someone when you least expect it can make anyone's day. The letter doesn't even need to be a long essay; a few heartfelt words would more than do the trick. In one such instance, a Reddit user received a short heartwarming note on his pizza box when he ordered from a restaurant he used to order from a lot years ago. u/Franz-Tschender shared on the platform a picture of a pizza with a special note on the box which reads, "Missed you." They explained in the caption, "After being back in my hometown after years, this is what I got from the pizza place I used to order." The post has already received 13k upvotes on Reddit.

The special note might have been a surprise for the customer, but it made them feel grateful for such love. Besides, in today's busy world, it is rare for businesses and establishments to remember their loyal customers and send them personal notes or thank them in person.

A person asked in a comment to the Reddit user if their hometown was small or if they had a big appetite for pizza. They replied, "I guess because I always order a specific pizza with specific toppings that no one else seems to do."

Many on the platform loved the touching note and started sharing their experiences. u/Major747 commented, "Reminds me of the time my friend at uni who would order Chinese takeout every other day and wanted to be a bit healthy so hadn't ordered in 2 weeks. They sent him a text asking if he was okay and would like to send him some soup to help him recover if he was sick, lol."

u/AdventurousAD5832 wrote, "Love this. Working in kitchens, you get used to seeing the orders of your regulars and it can be sad when they don’t come in anymore. They had to be stoked to see a familiar order after a long time away!" u/MelkyLuv shared, "Similar-ish thing happened to my sister and me when ordering a pizza from a place we hadn’t been to in easily 15 years. We walk in and the person knew us immediately and didn’t even ask for a pickup name. Honestly couldn’t believe it but was such a cool feeling, lol."

Some heartwarming notes do leave a huge impact on people. In another story, a daycare center dropped the tuition fee to $0 for a family whose children had been with them for 11 years. The parent u/myKidsLike2Scream shared the note from the daycare online. It read, "Due to the fact that your three amazing sons have been a part of [the daycare name] family for OH SO MANY years, and this is the last (sniff sniff) few weeks with us, your tuition is being adjusted to $0 per week! Thank you for your loyalty and awesomeness!"

The parent added in a comment below the note: "It was unexpected, but it saves us a chunk of change. Our boys have had very little issues learning in school and I think it's due to a great job our daycare did over the years to help them prepare."

Such kind gestures make people trust each other and help create a healthy community.
