Pet parent shares wholesome door cam video of Amazon driver stopping to chat with their dog

Meeting and interacting with an animal can be an exhilarating moment for people who love them. However, some interactions can be wholesome, even for the onlooker. A person who goes by @bokxloofficial on TikTok shared a video from their door cam that featured an Amazon delivery driver interacting with their dog heartwarmingly. It was a really touching sight to see, as the dog went from defensive to friendly because of the man's behavior. The brief interaction can truly make anyone's day.

The video begins with the man getting down from his truck with a parcel in hand. As he was walking down the driveway, he stopped midstep and noticed the dog on the porch. With wide eyes, the man warmly greeted the dog, "Oh, hi, pretty. Are you friendly?" As the dog didn't give any reaction, the Amazon delivery guy continued, "I think you are not." The man did not move forward in case he agitated the dog. "Hi, you know what," the man said as he stood at the same place looking at his phone. Eventually, he held up the parcel as if showing it to the dog. "I am going to set up for your mom right here, okay," the man patiently reassured the dog.

"Okay, can I go up there," the man asked as he moved forward, still chatting with the dog as he reached the porch. It seemed as if the dog had permitted him to come forward. So the man kept the parcel on the porch and enthusiastically greeted, "Ah, hi. I am Eric. I am going to set this up for your mom right here, okay?" He looked at the dog and cooed, "Oh, you are a friendly doggy?" The dog slowly approached the delivery guy as he encouraged the dog to smell him. The dog immediately started wagging his tail after smelling the man and even allowed him to pet his head. The man, in turn, appreciated the dog and expressed, "Ah, look at your beautiful eyes." The man continued rubbing the dog's head before returning to his truck toward the end of the video.

The video received over 2.4 million views and more than 51k likes. People took to the comments to talk about the wholesome interaction between the two. @karenmueller310 wrote, "I am an Amazon driver and I have conversations like that all the time...
