Pet parent hilariously defends her cat's 'intelligence' leaving everyone in splits

A pet parent is ready to lay down their life for their furry creature. Just like most parents protect their children, pet parents also love and accept their pets just as they are. Even though the world may point out flaws, they find the most hilarious and mind-boggling ways to defend and stand up for their “furry babies.” Ellie Massey—who goes by @ellliemassey on TikTok—shared a video of her cat and hysterically defended his “intelligence." While holding her orange feline, there was something strange about his posture. The cat was simply in Massey’s arms with his mouth wide open and stayed without moving for a long period.

“He’s very smart,” Massey proudly said, with much assurance as she held her feline. She continued to stroke his fur, but the cat refused to make any movement. However, it didn’t seem to bother or shock Massey. Trying to find reasons to explain and validate his unusual behavior, the woman boldly said, “He has a lot of thoughts.” She again repeated, “He has a lot of thoughts!” She continued to caress the cat and even speak in a baby voice as if one were caressing and pampering a child. “Look at him. He has so many!” Massey explained in response to a comment by @rottenlakes, who said, “Absolutely no thoughts.”

After a few seconds, the woman addressed the elephant in the room but very calmly said, “Sometimes he forgets to close his mouth.” Though astonishing for many, Massey made it seem like it was quite a mundane scenario. Accepting his weird posture and behavior, Massey defended him without a doubt. “Don’t be mean to him,” she requested in a baby voice. Switching between an adorable and passive-aggressive tone, Massey insisted that the feline was perfect the way he was. “He is so smart” she declared before sweetly adding, “in his special way.”

The woman held the feline tightly and kissed him several times. Hilariously, even then, the feline wouldn’t move a muscle. People were bursting with laughter at the cat’s unusual stature. However, pet parents knew exactly what Massey was trying to convey and were totally on board with her defense. @arkaid.ttv hilariously blurted, “Are the thoughts in the room with us?” @tinygreentruck added, “He has so many thoughts that he’s shocked at the sheer knowledge.” @sunshinesarah95 said, “He’s just mommy’s special boy and that’s all he needs to achieve.” 

In a comment, Massey added, “He is medically fine, he just forgets to close his mouth after meowing for some time and makes that face.” @vercuasalt.tv remarked, “All orange cats share the same brain cell.” @moonmoonnumber1fan wrote, “Do you think he knows he’s alive?” @jiggyitup hysterically pointed out, “I feel him. I also forget to close my mouth sometimes.” @rubyjean69 added to the sarcasm and said, “I propose that he just has infinite knowledge. He has seen the universe.” @eatingwildsalmon added another refreshing opinion, “He looks like he’s seeing something we’re not.”
