Woman hilariously highlights the differences between her golden retriever and corgi and it's adorable

Dogs are one of the most loved and preferred house pets everywhere. They're loyal to a fault, extremely kind and super loving. Dogs are also known to be quite friendly and playful and that's two of the many charming traits they possess (at least in most of the cases). In a video posted by pet mom on the TikTok handle of her fur buddies Maui and Ruby (@maui_thegoldenpup), she shows us just how different Maui, the golden retriever, and Ruby, the corgi, are.

The video begins with the two dogs sitting on a staircase with an overlay text that says, "The many differences between my golden retriever and corgi." Both the dogs are looking down before flashing a nice look right into the camera. Talking about the first difference between the two, the first clip shows Maui playing around with another dog with an overlay text that reads, "Maui: the social butterfly," and he sure seems that way. There's also a pop-on overlay on it that states how Maui loves to make new friends. Similarly, for Ruby, the overlay text reads, "Ruby: the introvert," wherein Ruby looks like it's feeling out of place around so many other dogs. This is right before Ruby's expression supposedly says, "I am leaving here" and it walks away.

Talking about the next point of comparison between the breeds, the Retriever is seemingly really scared of balloons and is seen to be hiding when he sees them around. The overlay text tells us that Maui is frightened of balloons and has a coping mechanism that pushes him to hide. The video even shows him hiding behind what seems to be a dining table. Contradictory to that, Ruby loves balloons and is extremely fearless and confident around them. According to the overlay text, Ruby also thoroughly enjoys booping balloons with her nose and can be seen doing so in the video.

The last difference, as the video states, shows us that Maui is a very cuddly and sweet doggo. He loves to kiss and cuddle and be clingy. In the video, he's on a woman's shoulder, all happy, with the overlay text stating, "Love you, mama." Alternatively, Ruby isn't very touchy at all. The text says that she is highly explosive and mostly untouchable. Even when her hooman is petting her, she has a major growling face going on. In the next face, in a similar situation, the overlay text matches her face to read, "Hands off peasant" and it checks out.

It is just surprising how two dogs growing up in the same household have such different personalities, but all in all, it's beautifully wonderful. Another viewer, @cutecreationsbytiff, said, "My corgi is the same but I thought females would be more affectionate. Guess not, lol!"
