The card reads, 'We're bass-icalyy ob-seassed with Echo and wanted to take this oppor-tuna-ty to surprise you with a portrait.'
Not every brand or company believes in connecting with their customers at a personal level but the ones that do, end up touching people's hearts in a special way. A TikTok user @spidergwenin shared in a heartwarming video that the pet food company, Chewy, sent her a birthday card and a hand-painted picture of her betta fish who passed away.
At the beginning of the video, the TikTok user clarifies that she did not order the package from Chewy. The card says, "Picture perfect" with the image of a palette. She reads the card which says, "They're too perfect for words so we painted this portrait." It also included a special note for her.
It reads, "Hi Thala, Happy National Aquarium Month we're bass-icalyy ob-seassed with Echo and wanted to take this oppor-tuna-ty to surprise you with a portrait. Best wishes, Your Chewy family." She goes to open the gift-wrapped package that came with the card.
"It's actually a portrait it's painted. This is my betta Echo. He unfortunately passed away recently but that's so cute," says Thala in the video. She shouted with joy upon seeing the portrait and her expression was proof of how much pet owners love mementos of their pets and it will surely become a priced possession for her.
The video went viral with more than 342k views on TikTok. It is captioned, "@Chewy thank you thank you thank you this is the coolest thing a company has ever sent me." Many in the comments section shared their personal experiences with Chewy. @tny_kaiju commented, "Chewy is the best. They sent me a condolences card when my cat passed away." @babypossumteeth wrote, "When my old cat passed away and I removed her profile from my account they sent me a portrait of all three of my critters seriously so sweet."
@careyfran expressed, "They sent my mom a bouquet of sunflowers for her dog that passed away last week. I love them." @heytessah said, "Chewy sent me a hand-painted portrait of one of my dogs too, and an absolutely massive bouquet of flowers when another dog passed. I adore them." @kimbo_yo commented, "I love Chewy so much, every year they send my pup a birthday card it’s so sweet. CS is top notch too!"

Talking about pets, a dog owner did something beautiful as a tribute to his dog who passed away. Jason Dunne left a box full of tennis balls at Exmouth Beach so that dog owners could grab one for their dogs. This was his way to celebrate the memory of Rex, according to itv.com.
The box of tennis balls also had a note that read, “Rex loved the beach, Rex loved the ball. Please feel free to take a ball for your dog and I hope you all enjoy this place as much as we did. Rex- sleep well my ginger Prince.” A picture of Rex, a Labrador with the title, “The goodest of good boys” was attached to the note.
This beautiful memorial to golden retriever/ Labrador Rex is on Exmouth beach in east Devon. Not going to tell a lie, it’s brought a tear to my eye m.

Dunne explained that this was his way of having a last walk with his best friend who died earlier this month. “It was my way of having one last beach day with my once-in-a-lifetime dog who literally changed our lives for the better in so many ways," he said.
