It wouldn't be wrong to say that childhood was the time when most of us had the best birthdays of our lives. Even though they weren't grand every time, they had every element that gave us happiness. That is probably why many kind-hearted souls give their best to make birthdays special for children. A recent incident when an entire flight joined forces to actualize a wholesome birthday surprise for a little boy traveling alone has made people go aww. A person from the Beverly Hills Comedy Team on TikTok shared the heartwarming video on Wednesday and it has garnered over 6 million views so far. The boy's adorable reaction to the surprise was worth more than a thousand words.

At the beginning of the video, the content creator, who was also a passenger on the boy's flight, revealed that the kid was traveling alone on his birthday. So, they approached the flight attendants to plan something special for the little boy, "to make his birthday feel less lonely and create a magical memory." The crew members took the surprise up a notch by making all the passengers participate in it. They even made a cute little crown for the boy and went to his seat to invite him over to the front. The little one had no idea what was about to happen and he stood there with a clueless expression.

The passengers and crew members got creative in wishing him a happy birthday. As one of the flight attendants announced the kid's big day, everyone else was asked to close the windows on their sides. Though the boy was a bit puzzled, he was smiling and was excited to know what was about to happen. The entire cabin became dark as all the windows were closed. All the passengers simultaneously pressed the call button above their seats and as the lights turned on, the plane looked magical. They did this to make it look like the birthday candles were lit as they couldn't find cakes and candles mid-air. The little boy had an adorable smile on his face while looking at the beautiful gesture.

At this heartening moment, everyone in the plane sang "Happy Birthday" to the little one and then he realized what was happening. His face lit up in happiness and his shy, fearful demeanor went away. The passengers then placed their hands ready to press the call button and once the birthday song was over, all the lights were turned off mimicking the blowing of candles. The kid, who was still in disbelief over the surprise, said, "Thank you." More than 15,000 comments poured in with many lauding the content creator for making the boy's birthday special.

"As a kid who flew alone every summer to see my dad, this has me BAWLING. This is so genuine...thank you for not letting him be alone," commented @mikkswagg. "You see, we all do have the ability to remember what it's like to treat one another respectfully and show compassion to each other. He'll always cherish this," wrote @indygolfer. "Boy they poured on the magic and made something scary turned into something he will never forget," commented @60sbaby_ny.
