A proud mom to an eight-month-old son, Hilton has learned to always give priority to her baby and spend as much time with him as possible.
It doesn't matter if you are a celebrity or a commoner because in both cases, when a person becomes a mother, they prioritize their child over everything in this world. Socialite, singer and actress Paris Hilton is no different as she has been adjusting to her new role as a mom at the age of 42, reported PEOPLE. The Hilton Hotels' heiress has revealed that she has learned the art of "saying no" lately. While chatting with the outlet about her "Be An Icon" kitchen and home collection range in collaboration with Walmart, Hilton also shared candid information about her life outside the limelight.
Hilton explained how welcoming son Pheonix Barron with her husband Carter Reum has given her a newfound control over her life. "I always make Phoenix my first priority and I've learned how to say no," Hilton said, adding how she has a lot to balance in her life, including her career as a high-profile DJ, a businesswoman and an author. "I'm constantly saying no to things because I just want to spend as much time with him as possible and I just don't want to miss any of these special moments in his life and all these milestones," she continues.

"He's my everything, so I always put him first," Hilton said about her son, who recently turned 8 months old. Hilton and Reum married in late 2021 and welcomed their first baby via surrogacy on January 16, 2023. She made the news of her son's birth public after eight days on Instagram. "My parents are just so obsessed with him," Hilton added. "I'm always calling my mom and my sister for advice and I'm really lucky that I'm so close with my family, so I have such a big support group."

Hilton and her husband have also started engaging their baby in extracurricular activities from a tender age. They've reportedly been taking Pheonix to music classes, which he apparently enjoys a lot. The little one has also been receiving swimming lessons at their home. "He's laughing, he's starting to sit up on his own and we just started feeding him solid foods a few months ago," Hilton said. "So, we're getting ready for him to start talking and walking and turning into a toddler."

The socialite is more than happy to welcome the next generation of Hilton. "It's just so cute to see this next generation of cousins. It reminds me of when my sister and I and our cousins were all growing up together. Now, seeing all of them doing the same things, it's really cute," she concluded.
Hilton also made an appearance on "The Drew Barrymore Show" in March 2023, where she admitted that her "life feels complete." "I'm so obsessed with him. My whole heart feels so full," she said, gushing over her son. "I just feel that this is a whole new phase of my life, even with his name, Phoenix. I feel like this is all about transforming and becoming a new person and growing in ways that I couldn't even imagine before," she remarked.

Hilton also added in that interview that moving forward with her family is helping her heal from her past. "Creating my own family and real life — because I've been kind of having to play this character and living this life for so long. And I feel like having a family, having children, is what I've always been meant to do," Hilton shared.
