We could all do with a pleasant surprise after a hectic week. When Kayla White—who goes by @kaylawhite726 on TikTok—decided to give her seven-year-old son Harrison a truly memorable surprise, she knew he would not be able to handle the joy. In a video shared online, the loving mom shares how she broke the big news to the youngster that he was actually going to see his favorite band perform live.

As Kayla informs Harrison that they won't be going to "meemaw's place," Harrison gets curious and asks why. Kayla replies, "Because there's a lot of 'rush.'" To clear his confusion, she declares they are going to a "Big Time Rush" concert while throwing a white fan t-shirt towards him.

Harrison turns red and seems extremely stunned. He asks where they are as he remains in denial. He checks the t-shirt out and asks if he could change into it. His face bursts with joy as he informs his mother that he is sure he is about to tear up.

The video clip later shows Harrison sitting on his father Kyle's shoulders. He has his eyes covered to stop his tears from rolling down. As the band plays, he gleams with excitement. The clip, which received more than six million views, was captioned: "Made a dream come true last night. Don't mind my voice I was fighting back tears lol. Big Time Rush's number one fan."

Attending the concert of your favorite band and hearing them live is a dream come true for many fans. However, Harrison might have garnered a fan following of his own as people resonated with him. "The fact that he is still SO polite while being unbelievably excited and confused is the best part of this," commented @haiiillll72.

"My now 16-year-old son's first concert was Big Time Rush. He wore a tux print shirt and had a sign that said official 5th member of Big Time Rush," wrote @vermomster. "Big Time Rush was the first concert I ever went to lol Andre from the show Victorious was the opening act I think," added @clownmakeupmua. After the video of Harrison's wholesome reaction to the band went viral, the youngster even got the chance to meet his idols in person.

Parents do go to great lengths just to see their child smile wide. One father flew at midnight to attend his terrified 44-year-old daughter's doctor appointment. The daughter had a consultation with a skin necrosis specialist. Skin necrosis is a type of tissue block in which blood flow to interior organs or bodily tissues is blocked. The causes vary, and the major treatment is surgery. She was terrified of the surgery. Her father, on the other hand, planned to surprise her by taking a plane at 3 a.m. and showing up for her visit.

Her emotions must have soared knowing she had her father at her side and had nothing to fear. From both perspectives, a child will always desire to cling to their parents. They require the assistance of their parents. Parents are the go-to companions everyone needs at every age, from learning to repair buttons on a shirt to mastering life lessons. All you have to do as a parent is show up and be present for your child. It is one of the most important aspects of parenting.
