Parents of identical twins hilariously share how do they tell their children apart

Being a parent to a single child is challenging enough. However, being a parent to identical twins is a whole other ball game. Parents often have to juggle two demanding schedules and face double the responsibilities. Nevertheless, they rise to the occasion to give their twins the best childhood they can get. Dr. Josiah Hackney, who worked as a perinatal chiropractor, happened to be a mother to four girls, out of which two were identical twins.

She posted a video on Instagram with her husband. Dr. Daniel Hackney hilariously shares the unique challenges of parenting identical twins. The video has got 333K views and 24,589 likes on the social media platform. The couple follows a consistent pattern throughout the video where the mother always begins with "We're parents of identical twins" while walking and follows it up with something unique that they had to do. This was followed by the video cutting and the husband substantiating how he distinguished his twin children.

The video starts with the mother saying, "We're parents of identical twins. Of course, I can tell my baby's apart." The dad hilariously shares how he told his girls apart by the color of their necklaces. He shares how one of the twins, Hannah, had one that was lighter in color. Before he can finish, it cuts back to the mom, who states how she likes to dress them the same way.

Meanwhile, the dad is on a different tangent, stating, "Hannah, since it's a palindrome, H-A-N-N-A-H. I thought the alternating colors on the necklace would make it easier..." before the video cuts to the mom again. The mom reveals how people often asked the redundant question of her twins being identical when their appearance made it kind of obvious what the answer was. We see the dad again and he shares how sometimes necklaces also did not work to distinguish the twins because they did not wear the ones assigned to them or wore none at all.

The video concludes with the mom sharing, "We're parents of identical twins. A video of the twins looking very much like the presidential candidates has gained a lot of views on TikTok. The video, which has more than 2.9 million views, showcases Koti dressed as Trump, with tanned skin and puckered lips. Meanwhile, Haven effortlessly pulled off a fabulous suit and aviator sunglasses to look like Joe Biden.

Their mother, Adrea Garza, spoke to Upworthy and revealed that her twins were born right before the 2016 presidential election. Coupled with the fact that their family went all out for Halloween, she had always had the idea to dress them up as Biden and Trump. The mother did not anticipate that her twins would become so popular on social media.
