Every person has a different way of gaining knowledge and remembering those things. Some people might need support to comprehend everything, while others do it independently. So, it can be really heartwarming when people decide to support a learner in every possible way. Similarly, a son who learned things better when teaching someone else received support from his parents in the most wholesome way possible. The man's brother, Andreas Polychronis–who goes by @andreaspolys on TikTok–took to the platform to share the parents' Friday tradition of helping their son study.

"POV: My brother learns better by teaching others, so to help him study, my parents let him give them a lecture on what he learned that week," the text overlay of the video read. The family sat in a dark room while the brother (a medical student) taught his parents what he was learning using a projector. He also had a plastic model to explain things more effectively. In the video, he was teaching his parents about pap smears to test for cervical cancer, as they sat there giving him their full attention. He made a complete presentation to his parents, which helped him understand the topic better.

Through the caption, Polychronis asked people on the internet, "Would your parents do this for you?"

The video received more than 6.3 million views and over 924 thousand likes. People in the comments appreciated the parents' touching gesture in supporting their son and helping him study. Quite a few people also shared their experiences about being shown that they are loved and cared for by their families.

@dayah wrote, "The highest form of learning is through teaching it to others. It is very clever actually to make sure that a person really understood the concepts they had grasped." @crooks405 commented, "He is so blessed. My mother shamed my sister for getting into her optometry program instead of getting married and having kids. Good luck to him and his journey! He needs all the support he can get!" @teenie remarked, "My daughter's middle school principal told her to do this to help with studying. She has severe learning differences. She 'lectured' us until she went to college. She graduates this year!"

@valarier shared, "Ok, I would absolutely listen to him explain his lectures. Also, it helps keep people educated about procedures they don't go through themselves, which is amazing." @gripha admitted, "This was me during my degree. My sister, who was like 9 years old, used to listen to me and ask questions I gave her beforehand. She knows a lot about psychology now."

@rayhanah expressed, "That's the best way to understand something. He's gonna be a great doctor one day! Kudos to your parents for being so supportive. They're a great example for our society." @mrsmckenzie disclosed, "They are witnessing in true form where that tuition money went and what it's doing. This is such an amazing thing. I love how the parents are attentive."
