Parents' ecstatic reaction to daughter's 'bun in the oven' announcement shows they'll be great grandparents

Every parent has a different way of showing their support and excitement about their child's big news. A woman announcing her pregnancy to her parents got a similarly unique reaction from them. Something about it has made people feel that they are going to make awesome grandparents. The woman, Madi Nehme—who goes by @itssmadioffcial_ on Instagram—shared how she announced her pregnancy, as well as her parents' hilarious reactions to her news.

"What does a baker who's making dinner rolls and I have in common?" Nehme asked her parents and her family. Without missing a beat, her mom answered, "Yeast." Her dad looked scandalized at the answer, while the mom looked proud of herself. The daughter snorted in laughter before someone off-camera said, "Can you ask the question again?" They added, "That was such a horrible..." before Nehme reenacted what her mom said and laughed all over again. She repeated her question, hoping that her family might get the answer this time. "You both use yeast," someone joked. "Minus 10," another person chimed in. Nehme finally asked if they wanted to hear the actual answer to her question and everyone agreed.

"We both have a bun in the oven," Nehme answered. The dad sighed at the answer before realizing what she actually meant a second later. The mom wore an unmoving smile before she started hyperventilating. "Hey, stop playing with me!" She handed her mother the test results and immediately the woman started flailing her arms in the air, too stunned to speak as she held onto the papers. The dad fell onto the sofa and put his legs around the mom to keep her from falling as she screamed in surprise. The woman oscillated between screaming and laughing as she processed the news. "Oh my god," she said, placing a hand on her heart. Her husband held her by the elbow and asked, "Are you okay?" She flatly replied, "No," as everyone in the room laughed.
