Parents' attempt to surprise toddler with a baby brother gets a hilariously epic reaction from her

Sometimes, toddlers who can barely even speak in a full sentence might have the best comebacks ever. Those innocent minds may not intend to be sarcastic but their timing and delivery are enough to crack up a room full of people. Some such interesting wisecracks are often heard when parents introduce kids to their newborn siblings. That was the case for parent influencers Jay and Sharon—who go by @jayplussharon on Instagram—when they recently welcomed their second child. The moment they introduced their toddler to her baby brother, she made an innocent remark that left the internet giggling.

In the video, the dad and mom had an important thing to say to their daughter before leaving for the hospital. "I'm going to take Mommy to the hospital and the next time you see her, we'll have a gift for you," the dad told the daughter. The little one agreed with a wide grin on her face and was quite excited about her gift. Little did she know that it was going to be a baby brother. The video then shows the wholesome moments Jay and Sharon share in the hospital before the mom gives birth to a beautiful baby boy. 

Now it was time for a sibling reveal and Jay brought his daughter to the hospital room. The toddler walks into the hospital ward and meets her newborn brother who is peacefully asleep in his mother's arms. She gently stroked his head and shared a beautiful moment of bonding with him. It was all cute and heartening—until the little girl asked a hilarious question. Remembering that her parents had promised her a gift when she meets her mom the next time, she asks, "Where's my gift?" The tiny tot hadn't even realized that her baby brother was the gift and casually looked around if there was a present awaiting her. "A special gift," the caption read but the toddler clearly didn't agree.

The little one's response had the internet in stitches while people also adored her innocent reaction. In fact, many other siblings online could amusingly relate to the child's question wondering if the baby brother was her actual gift. "Congratulations! But the toddler is right where is her gift, you just split her inheritance in half," quipped @m_cortez07. "As an elder sibling, I have the same question, 'Where's the gift?'" joked @riya.a.shaw. "OMG! She said, 'This ain’t it guys!' Congratulations!" chimed in @lexitelevision. "Where's her gift? You people didn't tell her it's going to be a whole new human. Congrats to the family," added @mannequin.lordess.

On a similar note, a little boy's adorable reaction after meeting his baby brother for the first time went viral on the internet. The video was shared by the boy's mother who goes by @hoyeenibk on TikTok and it was too cute to handle. When the child entered the hospital room to visit his mom and his baby brother, he came bearing balloons and a bouquet. "Mommy, for my baby! My baby!" the excited big brother said. He then gently caressed his baby brother, so carefully so as not to wake the little one.
