Parents are capturing their kids' reactions to them dancing in wholesome social media trend

It's beautiful when kids show their parents affection. A trend to document this affection has been started by a wave of parents. The latest wholesome trend involves parents discreetly filming their kids' amused reactions after the parent requests that their child record them doing a silly dance. However, the parent says they are utilizing the front-facing camera and want to see themselves, but in reality, the parents are using the back cameras to capture their child's natural response to the scene.

In one of these videos, which @maddibaby18 uploaded on Instagram, the mother can be heard instructing her young child to capture her dancing. As Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me" plays, she performs a silly dance. The video cuts to her child's reaction halfway through her dance (which was recorded from a distance on a different phone) as they gently beam at their mother being goofy.

Other parents pulled the same ruse, but this time they danced around, being warm and playful with their partners, modeling excellent relationship ideals. A mother who posted a video of her son's reaction to her and her husband dancing and cuddling captioned the video, "The pure love in his eyes what did we do to deserve him?!" The child is seen in absolute awe of his parents as they dance together, even saying "It's my girl" at one point, referring to his mother. The child looks at his parents with absolute glee at his parents' goofiness.

Another couple shared a similar video, with the caption, "The look in his sweet little eyes makes me want to cry. Seeing the two people he loves more than anyone in the world love each other brings him so much joy and peace." In the video, the couple is seen dancing to Taylor Swift's "Love Story" in front of a nice, decorated Christmas tree, while the child sits on a chair recording the dance. The couple's kids are seen really enjoying the antics, with one son taking the video, clearly in awe of the parents, with another son dancing to the song the parents are dancing to. 

It's difficult to get enough of seeing all of the children's wide smiles. Many people liked the trend, expressing how nice it is to witness children's sheer delight. User @kellyygrayy commented, "Okay but this is like my favorite version I’ve seen of these because he loves your love!!" User @laureson2 commented, "Have heard 'the best thing a Dad can do for his children is to love their mother well'." User @slm_amiri commented, "The eyes chico. The eyes never lies, his eyes are full of love for his mom."

Many people emphasized how important this kind of modeling behavior is for raising an emotionally stable child.
