The 43-year-old singer and mom-of-two shared an emotional video of her late father, Vietnam veteran Jim Moore.
Alecia Moore, better known as P!nk, remembered her dad, Vietnam veteran Jim Moore, on the second anniversary of his death with a touching tribute. The 43-year-old singer shared a special bond with her dad who died in 2021 following a battle with prostate cancer at the age of 75. In an emotional tribute, she posted a clip of her dad with her son Jameson when he was a toddler.
“Hey you, why you hitting me?” Jim is heard saying in the video. He then began tickling his grandchild’s tummy playfully. “Did I find the soft spot, huh?” he asked. “Did I find the spot in that little belly, right there?” The two shared a sweet laugh together.
In the video's caption, P!nk wrote, “I miss you, Dad. The kids do too. Sometimes I hate how time flies. Sometimes I hate how we have to be funny in order to avoid the hurt. Today it isn’t funny. Today it just hurts. I’m glad you don’t anymore though. You don’t hurt."
"I hope they still call you twinkle toes and that you’re still getting out of line. I hope you’re singing along. I hope you’re making everyone laugh. I hope you feel this love. Gone but not forgotten, Daddy Sir," she concluded in the video.

Her father was a pillar of strength through tough times and supported her from the very beginning when she decided to pursue music professionally. "When a daughter loses her father, your first thought is, 'No one's ever going to love me like that again,' and it's a very lonely feeling," the 43-year-old told PEOPLE. "I wish I could talk to him sometimes and ask him more questions. As a parent, you have to let your children make their own choices. You want to stop them sometimes, but you realize you can't. And I realize now that my dad, in a lot of ways, was holding back a lot of his real opinions so that I could make my own choices. I want to ask, 'What did you really think?'"
She also told the outlet that she is so much like her father and gets all her best traits from him. "I definitely have his blood in my veins. He's a fighter, a survivor and a take-no-s**t kind of dude," P!nk said in 2006. "I got my rebellious spirit from him because I saw the rewards of it. Every night, he would look at himself in the mirror and say, 'Yeah, you did your best.'"
The musician shares daughter Willow, 12, and son Jameson, 6, with husband Carey Hart. As for the father figure to her kids, she is grateful to have Hart by her side in raising their babies together. On Father's Day, she honored Hart on Instagram, writing, "Happy Father's Day @hartluck. These kids are so lucky to have a Papa that loves them and goes out of his way to make them feel important. Fishing, camping, skating, cuddles, scrambled eggs and manicures. You're up for all of it."
