'Non-strict' mom's responses to her daughter's hypothetical questions are hilarious and wholesome

Wendy Powell, who goes by @mutuceo on TikTok, has a daughter who is blessed to have a mom who's not strict. The mother and daughter did a fun activity where the daughter came up with hypothetical situations and asked her mom how she would react to them. Her responses are both adorable and funny.

The video begins with the daughter asking her mom: "What would you do if I snuck out and you found out?" With the biggest smile on her face, the mom casually replied, "Lock the door and make you sleep outside." The girl chortled before moving to the next question. She couldn't hold herself together as she asked her mom what she would do if she got into a fistfight. "I'd assume the other person... deserved it," Powell replied with confidence. The daughter dramatically wiped tears from her eyes after listening to her mom's straightforward response.

The daughter questioned, "What would you do if I get arrested?" The mom was a little speechless for a moment until the daughter explained that she meant getting held overnight. "Tell them I'd be there in the morning," Powell said after giving it a thought. "What if I threw a party while you were away?" the girl wondered. The mom expressed that she would make her apologize to the neighbors and the situation sounded like something that had happened for real with them.

The amused daughter asked what Powell would do if she found out she was skipping school. "You'll get in trouble in school for that. That's their problem," the mom said brushing it off. The final question was what the mom would do if she found out that her daughter had snuck a boy in. "Snuck him out again," the mom admitted. "You mean sneak him out," the daughter retorted, barely holding back her laughter. "I will throw him out," Powell stated with her showstopping smile.

"Complete trust means my kids are allowed to go out and do what they want, assuming they don't lie, and I know where they are," Powell, who is the CEO of MUTU, told Newsweek about her parenting style.
