NFL star Tom Brady's kids surprise him with a heartfelt tribute: 'You were a superstar'

The support and acknowledgment from loved ones during life's major milestones are truly a blessing. NFL star Tom Brady, who recently retired from his stellar career, experienced this firsthand, per PEOPLE. Recently inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame, Brady's children—16-year-old Jack, 14-year-old Benjamin, and 11-year-old Vivian—surprised him with a heartfelt tribute. They collaborated on a nostalgic illustration by “An Infinite Story,” which Brady proudly shared on Instagram, expressing deep gratitude for his kids.

The trio of kids had hilarious roasts to add along with the touching words. “My kids surprised me this morning with this video, and I wanted to share it with my Patriot family too. What a ride,” he wrote in his caption. Beginning with a visual of the illustration where Brady is holding his daughter and a trophy, Vivian said in a voice-over, “Hey Dad, we’re so excited to be back in Boston this week.” As the illustration zoomed in, each still uncovered another memory in the star’s robust journey.

“I thought it would be fun to look back at all the memories as a Patriot,” she said. Next, Benjamin appeared, saying, “Six Superbowl titles, I only remember three of them, but those games are some of my favorite memories." As the frames transitioned, various moments from memorable games, victories, and other experiences were compiled. Brady’s oldest son, Jack, mentioned that although they didn’t witness their dad’s entire career, the journey had been remarkable and supported by all.

“Same Here Benny! But I know the rest of the family was there screaming at the top of their lungs during the first three,” he said. “You were a superstar! I did hear that you learned it all from your big sisters though,” Vivian chimed in, with the sweetest voice. Getting through the stills of Brady in his jersey and moving on to a picture of his kids, Jack exclaimed, “Most importantly, you were just dad.” Lastly, the heartfelt video revealed an illustration of young Brady with his sister Tio and his parents. Benjamin added, “From Papa, Grandma, all your sisters, nieces, nephews, and us, congratulations on your induction to the Patriot’s Hall of Fame.”

In the very last slide, Brady, seen with the purest smile, had the words, “Thank you for everything” written all over.
