Newborn baby who lost her mom stops crying after listening to her mother's heartbeat in a teddy bear

The bond between a mother and her child is incomparable. Unlike other relationships, this one starts even before the child's birth, right from the womb. Lula Smith (@lulasmith65) shared a video of her niece on TikTok which moved the internet to tears. In a touching moment, the newborn's aunt was trying to console the little one who wouldn't stop crying unless she had her teddy bear. The sad part was that the teddy bear had a recording of the newborn's mother's heartbeat. 

"My sister passed away and her daughter knows her heartbeat," the aunt captioned the video. In the video, the little one is visibly upset and is crying uncontrollably while reaching for something. That is when the aunt reveals, "She cries that she wants her teddy bear," and adds, "Her bear holds her mother's heart." As soon as the aunt brings the teddy bear closer, the newborn instantly stops crying and calms down, laying on her aunt's chest. Slowly, she falls asleep to the sound of her mother's heartbeat and the aunt says, "That's the only way she'll stop." Holding back the tears, the aunt rocks the baby back and forth along with the teddy bear. The entire moment turned out to be overwhelming for many viewers. 

The video garnered over 51,000 views and the comments section was filled with love and admiration for the family. "She heard it for nine months and is connected to it. Sending love your way. This journey will be hard but watch, it turns out beautiful," commented @laurenlavender55. "This is the saddest and sweetest thing at the same time my heart hurts for that baby but I know you’re gonna love her just as much as your sister did," wrote another TikTok user. "Make sure you keep a backup recording if that’s a build-a-bear the audio will eventually die out. I wish I would’ve had a back recording for mine," suggested @asjamaria. "Absolutely beautiful and amazing the way she calmed down as soon as she heard her mother's heartbeat," commented @rhiannawagoner.

Another heartwarming moment when the baby calmed down listening to her mother's voice was shared by the aunt a few days later. In this video, she showed the newborn a video of her late mother singing to her. The newborn was crying bitterly in the arms of her mother but once the mother started singing "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston, the little one stopped crying and started to relax, listening to her mom's voice.

A month later, after the mom passed away, the newborn's aunt showed the little one this video. We could see that the child was holding her teddy bear in this video too while patiently watching her mother's singing. "She loves and remembers everything about her mom," the sister captioned the video. With over 77,000 views, this video left many in tears. Even after leaving this world, the mom was still able to calm her baby down and the aunt played a crucial part in helping the little one.
