It was a sad sad day in the cyberworld when the internet's favorite cat, Tardar Sauce aka Grumpy Cat, passed away at the age of 7 last year. Marking the end of a spectacular era of unimpressed memes and a whole load of sass, her death was a greater blow to the internet than when Facebook's shady user data side business was revealed. Grumpy Cat left behind a void that many have time and again attempted to fill and miserably failed. After all, there can never be another cat as grumpy, fierce, and callous looking as Tardar Sauce, right? Or can there?

As it turns out, there's a new feline in town who's caught the internet's attention with her surly expression. Named Meow Meow by her cat mom, this giant fluff from Taiwan has similar facial features to Tardar Sauce and maybe—just maybe—could be the next Grumpy Cat. Speaking to Bored Panda, Meow Meow's human Clare revealed that she met her fierce feline at an old pet shop. "Her ex-owner abandoned her for some unknown reason. She was 10 months old at that time, so me and my younger brother took her to our house and she became my first cat," she said.

Clare also suspects that Meow Meow was probably born before the OG Grumpy Cat. As with every good rise to fame story, this unimpressed looking furball has also had her fair share of troubles. Clare revealed that Meow Meow suffers from hyperthyroidism and even had to be hospitalized for treatment. However, being the queen that she is, she handled it all with the utmost grace. Although she hated everyone and everything as usual during her treatment, Clare says she expressed her disgust for the world with a lot of dignity.

Despite constantly sporting an expression that screams "Die! Die! Die," Clare claims Meow Meow is a very sweet kitty. "She massages me using her paws to wake me up every single day," the doting cat mom said. However, the badass feline is quite picky when it comes to food and only likes one particular type of canned cat food. "She’s tried nearly everything but she only likes that one," said Clare.

Meow Meow is also a very prim and proper little lady and hates breaking her daily routine. She wakes up quite early and if her massage doesn't wake her human up, she starts nibbling Clare until she gets her breakfast. "After the meal, she washes herself and jumps onto one of her favorite places near the windows to watch the birds. Sometimes she even draws the curtains all by herself just to sit down and get a better look," Clare revealed.

The besotted cat mom thinks Meow Meow looks so angry all the time because of the Batman mask-shaped mark on her face. Despite what her face says, for Clare, the feline will always be the cute little kitty that she is. "Even when I take a picture of her and she looks at me, I find her very gentle. I even dressed her like a princess once, but my friends saw her and told me she looked more like a queen," the cat mom revealed.
