Just starting a workout routine - the first step - is an achievement by itself. However, what happens next might be a hilarious flop. Lacing up your sneakers, feeling like a fitness guru, only to be greeted by wheezes and awkward strides. So, going for a jog rarely might bring more laughs than fitness benefits. That was the case when a woman started preparing for a marathon by going for a run. Anna Boswell, better known as AG (@artsyfartsyag) on TikTok, shared how her concerned neighbor reacted when he saw her running one fine morning. The neighbor's innocent reaction was so hilarious that the video instantly went viral with over 11 million views in less than a month.

In the video captured by Boswell's home security camera, she can be seen starting to run towards the street opposite her home. As she started her sprint, her neighbor, Stanley Golden, who was tapping his basketball, seemed worried and started rushing towards her. He yelled, "Are you okay? Everything okay?" to which Boswell responded, "Yeah! Just going on a run," and continued jogging. "My neighbor thought I must surely be running from danger instead of for fun," the text overlay reads. Boswell quipped that her jog wasn't "as cool as she previously thought" it was after that amusing encounter. "Protect my neighbor at all costs. He had no idea what I was running from but he was ready to help!" she added in her captions.

The kind-hearted neighbor's concern turned into a moment of laughter and the internet loved it. "He said 'Her? Exercising? No she must be in danger.' He’s so sweet though," said @kimizamorafrelk. "I had a cop pull over one time and ask me if I was okay and my answer was, 'Yeah, I’m just attempting to exercise,'" chimed in @hollyfahler relating to Boswell. "He immediately knew the assignment but also was confused by the assignment," gagged @mizmarymc2.

With lots of appreciation pouring in for Golden, Boswell decided to reveal him to the world. In a follow-up video, Boswell asked Golden what was going on in his mind when he saw her run. As he was casually playing basketball, the first thought that popped up when he saw his neighbor sprint was "Is it fight or flight?" Confused, as he had never seen her jogging, he decided to ask what was wrong and on realizing the truth, he was relieved. "I immediately stopped what I was doing and I took off running to engage with her, to make sure that she was OK because I hadn't seen that routine," Golden told Good Morning America.

Turns out, Boswell, a mom of two, was simply preparing for a half-marathon she hoped to participate in in December. "My youngest recently turned 1 and I was like, 'Let's get back in it.' And because I have no chill, I was like, 'Let's run a half marathon,' That's how it all kind of started," she explained. She and Golden never expected to go viral and speaking of his caring gesture, Boswell said, "He is just genuine and was looking out for friends and family, and we're lucky to have him as a neighbor. I think that the world would be a better place with more Stanleys."
