Nando's employee receives the most wholesome package from the company during her maternity leave

Working people spend most of their days in their workplaces, making it their second home. So, it can be really heartwarming to know that your workplace cares about you. A small gesture can make someone truly happy. Similarly, a Nando's worker was ecstatic when she received a thoughtful gift for her baby from her workplace during her maternity leave. El—who goes by @ellpatonn on TikTok—took to the platform to share the gift she had received from Nando's and her reaction to the surprise package.

The text overlay of the video read, "POV: You worked for Nando's for 3 years and received a parcel a week into maternity leave." El was still pregnant at the time of filming the video and held up the parcel to the camera as she got ready to open it. "I feel like this moment has to be shared," the woman said as she cut open the package. She immediately started giggling once she opened it. It had quite a few things for the baby. She wondered if it was a uniform as she unwrapped the package. It had a card that read, "I am new here." It also had cards to put milestone photos. El looked pretty excited as she continued to go through the contents of the box.

The chicken place had sent a cute onesie with a chili on it as well. It also had "Peri-Peri" written on it in a cute font and the mom straight up laughed as she saw it. The package also had some cute socks and a white beanie. "Oh my gosh!" she exclaimed as the video ended. She captioned the video, "Live, laugh, love Nando's." People took to the comments to appreciate the thoughtful gesture by Nando's and to congratulate the mom.

Oh my God so cute." @babsmillar2 wrote, "Why do works places not understand it’s the small things like this that actually make you feel appreciated? Well done Nando’s." @kayleighcooper35 commented, "My husband works for them and he received one when our baby was born too, love it. but don’t understand why there are 3 socks, not 2 or 4." @meganmartin271 shared, "I worked in a nightclub and on my last day, they gave me a baby grow uniform and one of the drag queens bought a bib saying 'as cute as my auntie Selma.' Miss that place so much."

A few days later, El posted a video after giving birth to her little girl. In this video, the baby was wearing the socks sent by Nando's, which were a little bit big for the baby but the mom was thrilled because of the thoughtful gift sent in by her workplace. She took a video of all the goodies on her baby's bed. The pack of socks also had an extra one that read, "Emergency socks." The sole of one of the socks read, "Happy feet since '87" and the other one read Nando's. The first video received 11.2 million views, while the update received 92.7k views.
