Being a new mother is both emotionally and physically challenging. Nothing can prepare women for this delightful but tiring experience. TikTok mom Emily Vondrachek (@thevondyfam) encapsulates these varying feelings in her "nap trapped" song. This song, as the title implies, was sung when Emily was trapped where she was seated because of her daughter enjoying a nap on her chest. Many mothers have found themselves in Emily's situation when they just can't move, as even the smallest of quivers would cause the baby to wake up. Nonetheless, Emily enjoys these discomforts, as she knows this phase will not last forever. Her song captures everything she feels about being "nap trapped," from the funny tidbits to the downright emotional ones. A tissue is a must for every listener.

The sweet video is captioned, "I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I posted the original 'nap trapped' song that I had written while being nap trapped, had to re-make it with her baby sister because it turns out I'm still trapped a year later! And I wouldn’t have it any other way." The caption refers to an earlier video put up by Emily where she is seen doing a similar exercise with her elder child.

This video features Emily and a sleeping baby on her chest. Thereafter, she starts the catchy song with, "Bring the beat back; Bladder full of coffee; Really have to pee; Got a million things to do and places to be; But I’m nap trapped; Been at this for an hour. Nap trapped." Then, she details how even though she needs to shower, there is no way she can put down her baby. "And when I stand, she opens her eyes; So I’m not gonna fight it; No need to struggle; For now, I’ll just enjoy this snuggle," she adds.

Though put out in a funny style, the message inside can make any mother burst into tears. These days are tough, but they become memories that mothers hold close to their hearts. There is nothing more emotional for a parent than to watch how quickly their children seem to grow up. Therefore, all she wants to do now is hold on to these sweet snuggles, even amidst the struggles. People related to these varying emotions so much that the video collected almost 2 million views in no time. Her account is filled with content showing the highs and lows of her mom-life. In one video, she happily celebrates her toddler sleeping through a Walmart run. Another video shows her trying to go through postpartum, getting ready 10 days after going through the biggest transformation of her life.
