One of the most unforgettable moments in a woman's life is the birth of her child. Though mothers witness several other milestones as their children grow up, being handed their newborn for the first time remains special forever. From preserving their tiny little footprints to capturing the little ones' first words on camera, moms savor every heartwarming moment. Recently, one mom went viral for making her daughter's wedding memorable by reading a letter she wrote when her daughter was born. Canadian lifestyle and travel content creator, Scout Stevens (@scoutshmygol on TikTok) shared this moment online, where it received over four million views.

In the slideshow, Stevens posted some candid pictures from her dreamy destination wedding. The snaps show moments from Stevens' parents' wedding speech. "Your parents are giving a speech at your wedding and everything is fine until your mom decides to destroy you," the text overlay read. By "destroy," one would think the bride's mom managed to embarrass her daughter by roasting her during the speech. But it turns out the bride meant she was incredibly touched and overwhelmed by emotions when her mom read a letter she saved for 30 years.

The bride clarified that her mom "destroyed" her by reading a letter she wrote the day Stevens was born. The bride, who was grinning from ear to ear at the beginning of the wedding speech, soon turned sappy. She broke into tears as her mom read the wholesome letter. "She saved it for 30 years and gave it to me to keep," Stevens added. The bride and her mom shared a hug after this rollercoaster of emotions. "I will absolutely be doing this for my children," Stevens promised in the caption. When @melanierosemoss asked the bride in the comments to share the letter online, Stevens replied that despite the sweet requests, she preferred to have her mom's letter as a special keepsake just for herself.

The post touched hundreds of users on the social media platform. "When I first saw this, I thought you meant she roasted you as her speech," said @cfitt1892. "I am writing a letter for each of my kids on the day they were born and every birthday recapping their year until 18, then giving them to them!" noted @marissa54pace. "10 weeks pregnant and just added this to my to-do list. Also, I'm crying just thinking about this," chimed in @a.ric098. "This is lovely. I have a notebook called 'Letters to My Daughter as I Watch You Grow' and every so often, I write my daughter a letter. I will give it to her on her 18th birthday," added @lola_19_892.

Stevens also considers her mom her "forever hype woman." In another slideshow, Stevens revealed how her mom doesn't miss a chance to offer a word of praise for her daughter. She shared her mom's email to her, lauding her daughter's efforts. "My mom hyping me up every time I send an email to the guests at a wedding we're both attending. I'm the toastmaster, so I'm coordinating with the guests," she explained. Expressing her love and pride, the mom responded to her daughter with an uplifting email every time.
