This mother is raising her daughter right by singing her a positive affirmation song every morning, the empowering lyrics of which are bound to touch everyone.
Parenting is tough and there are times when parents struggle to establish an empathetic and harmonious relationship with their kids. Sometimes these kids grow up, wishing they had received enough attention and validation from their parents and they eventually drift apart. A first-time mom from Florida is taking an interesting approach to gentle parenting and raising her daughter with kind words and lots of praise.

Fran, a motherhood content creator who goes by @thatcrunchyishmom on TikTok, recently shared a video with her daughter and it quickly went viral with over 18 million views. In the video, we can see the mom holding her daughter as they both look into the mirror. The two sing along to a melodious song that serves as a daily affirmation for the little girl who appears to have memorized some of the words while singing along with her mother.
"I love my body, from the head to my toes. I love my face, my eyes, my mouth and my nose. I love the way I look when I look in the mirror. I stand a little closer to see a little clearer," goes the song. "Who is that?" Frans sings while holding her baby girl. The little one chimes along with her mother and says, "It's me!" The song, which is all about feeling good in your own skin, concludes with: "So what do I say? I tell myself I love me every day."
In the video caption, Fran thanked @clovermama for making the beautiful song. "Her daily affirmations... my heart melts every time. Thank you @mothermoon for such a special song," she wrote.
Fellow TikTok viewers could not hold themselves back from gushing over the cute mother and daughter moment and appreciated Fran for the affirmation song she sings to her child.
@tjannamichaelarob applauded and wrote, "From one scoliosis mumma to another you are doing an amazing job!" @llamallamaduckduck noted, "I had a scoliosis back brace when I was younger from age 8 to 14 and I wish someone would have helped me love myself a little more." @leandracupido commented, "This is more important than most people realize. Actively create the voice in your child's head because if you don't, the world will." @courtneyrenee__ added, "The fact her song has become a feel-good mantra for babies is so damn cute. I love it."

KC Davis (@domesticblisters), a professional counselor who makes videos on TikTok, had previously explained in one of her videos that gentle parenting helps the parents as much as it helps their child. "It is not easy. It’s hard work and we all make mistakes but seems like what is really making kids soft is whatever parenting these people have. Parents who are regulated don't hit and scream at their children," the counselor mentioned in her video. There are many parents who are opting for a gentle parenting method just like Fran. It's great to know that Fran is raising her little girl in an environment filled with positivity and teaching her the basics of self-love from a tender age that will for sure help her in the future.
