It is September and finally, the frenzy of "back-to-school" preparations has come to an end as kids embark on a new school year. Many parents could not help but share the excitement of their child's first day of school on social media. As creative "back-to-school" photos adorn the internet, one mom is concerned about the parents' lack of awareness of internet safety. Kayla Miracle—who goes by @kaylaqueen22 on TikTok—shared a crucial warning to fellow parents on the internet about how unsafe it is to post their child's back-to-school pictures online.

The mom started her video by saying that her opinion might give rise to hate comments, but she needed to speak about it. She understood the excitement parents might have over sending their kids back to school after a long summer vacation. However, there is something that parents often forget while sharing their excitement online. Seeing many "back-to-school" pictures and videos on social media, the mom said, "Y'all need to be real careful." She added, "I've watched one too many videos, and y'all are showing their schools' names on their uniforms. It takes nothing but a Google search to figure out the address to that school."

The woman gave an eye-opening reality check about posting back-to-school photos. "You're not there with your child all day long. You don't know who's watching your baby. You get way too many views on TikTok of complete strangers," she mentioned. "Why are y'all letting strangers know where y'all kids are going to school?" she asked in disappointment. The mom then spoke about how she, like other parents, was glad about sending her kids back to school and having some quiet time at home. As much as she loved seeing adorable back-to-school photos, she despised how negligent and unsafe parents were.

Pointing out how kids have often been snatched near their schools, the mom urged parents to think about their child's safety. "Everybody wants to be a content creator, but nobody is thinking about the safety of their children," she said. After repeatedly insisting on "internet safety," the mom asked parents to stop posting their child's uniforms or school buses, which could easily give away their school and home addresses. A few internet users agreed with this advice. "You are 1000% correct. Nothing but the truth, but this should be common sense," commented @keylaboolovingmerussell. "Weird," remarked @leshaunda_k.

Speaking of the back-to-school pictures tradition, one tired mom added a hilarious and relatable twist to the back-to-school photo. Jeni Bukolt (@mavenjeni), a mom of two, hopped onto the bandwagon and shared a picture of herself holding an amusing sign on Instagram. The sign board revealed how exhausted the 42-year-old mom was and how she was going to get through the rest of the school year. "Happy 'Back to School' season to all the parents. May we not forget a 'theme' day or accidentally send our kids to the bus stop on the teacher's work days, or forget to pick them up on the randomly scheduled half days. May we have patience and give each other grace for doing our best!" her caption read.
