A heartwarming viral trend on TikTok shows daughters dressing up their moms as themselves. When TikToker Nadine Bloch came across this trend, she decided that it was perfect for her and her mom to try. "I have the hot mom so, like, obviously I'm going to use this and do this trend with her," the 23-year-old told TODAY.

Bloch put together two outfits for her mother: a casual look and another for going out. She also accessorized the looks with sunglasses and boots. She shot two single-take videos of her mother, Marie-France Bloch, strutting in the outfits she picked out and posted the videos on TikTok. By the next morning, the videos had blown up on the social media platform with close to 3.3 million views. Both videos together now have about 40 million views.

In one of the videos, the 54-year-old Marie-France can be first seen wearing her own outfit of a pink sweater, a pair of leggings and a long shrug before switching to a short black sparkly dress with boots. In the second video, she sports a black romper with off-white fluffy boots. Bloch appropriately captioned one of the videos: "My biggest flex is my mom lol."

Many TikTok users loved the way Marie-France carried off her daughter's clothes. One wrote: "This trend is proof that a trend can be very unproblematic, enjoyable and fun, I love seeing every single mom doing it, makes me so happy." Another commented, "Ok, all the moms are killin it in this trend!!!" A third said: "She looks amazing."

Marie-France loves the new trend and said that it shows that age is just a number and how clothing can bring out people's personalities in positive and fun ways. "Instead of being told that women should 'dress their age,' this trend expresses the freedom to look good and more importantly to feel good as we age. It's very empowering," she said. "It was also just a really great bonding moment between the two of us... and a real flip on when Nadine was a little girl parading around in my high heels."

There are many other mother-daughter pairs who have tried their hand at the new trend. Thousands of videos have been uploaded on the platform in which moms have been dressed up in their daughters' clothes. Olivia Massucci, 18, also filmed the trend with her mother. However, it was nothing new for the duo as they often share their clothes.

"We basically share closets to begin with," Massucci said. "She's always borrowing my stuff and I'm always borrowing hers. So, when I saw this trend, I was like, 'Oh my gosh, we have to do this.'" Massucci already knew the outfit she wanted to pick out for her mom. She went with a black top and cargo pants with Jordan sneakers and completed the look with a cup of coffee in her mom's hand.

"Not many moms would dress up as their daughter and do a sassy walk on TikTok," Massucci said. The teen's mother, Tatum, admitted that she feels good when her videos with her daughter get positive comments. She said, "We're friends, but we're also mother and daughter and that's not something you see too often."
