Mom tells kids she's taking them to open house. Then she surprises them with their own home

Every parent dreams to raise their children in a home of their own, however, it becomes a reality for only a few. Not everyone is privileged enough to have a whole house for their family. This was the case for this family who just bought their own home and have made their dreams come true. The mother found a wonderful way to break this news to her children and it will completely warm your heart. In the video posted by 5krunner on Reddit, the camera spans toward three kids standing outside a house. 

The mother revealed in the text overlay that she told them she is taking them all to an open house. She then starts talking to her kids and saying, "I have been working. I have been saving up and I got you all." One of her kids then proceeds to enter the house and her daughter struggles with the keys. As they enter and realize the house is empty except for all their stuff packed in boxes. The kids scream in joy as they cannot believe that the house now belongs to them. Their mother says, "Welcome home," as the kids run to find their rooms. 

Her daughter bursts into tears and the mother gives them another surprise revealing that the house even has a backyard. This beautiful video has gathered over 8 million views on TikTok and 6k upvotes on Reddit. A TikTok user commented, "You’ve raised some great kids, they aren’t trying to hide their emotions or gratitude, you can tell this is a family full of love." Another added, "This might be the most beautiful thing I've seen on this app. Congratulations to you and your family." A third user commented, "People who has always had a home they own will never understand this feeling.. congratulations I am so so proud for you and your family!!"

People on Reddit also had emotional reactions to this video with one, SolidFerret1688, commenting, "Dang it, this is a make-my-day kinda video! You rock, Mom! Love the pure joy in the kids' faces!! Happy tears indeed!!" User azyungal added, "So happy for this family. I hope they make many happy memories in their new beautiful house." Some who had a house all their life said this video made them realize their privilege. One Reddit user, boi-long, said, "Damn makes me realize some extra privilege I’ve had in life, but that is a nice ass house, no back neighbors too. But teach this girl how locks work that was some buildups."
