Planning a vacation with kids is a hassle with finding hotels that are family-friendly and that have activities that children can also enjoy. It takes a lot of time and effort from the parent's end to work it all out. Maddie Castellano recently posted a video to make the task easier for parents, she recommended the top countries that one should opt for to travel with kids. Castellano—who goes by @maddiecastellano on TikTok—starts the video by sharing that she and her husband have traveled to 12 countries with their two young sons. Out of the 12, she lists down the top 5 which have been toddler-friendly destinations.

She says in the video, “First starting off strong: Japan. I literally love Japan. I would do anything for Japan. This place is the greatest. It is so safe, so clean. The people are amazing. They're the kindest people, the most respectful people in the whole world. They love kids.”

“It is very easy to use public transportation, but also we rented a car once. It's super easy to drive. There's so much to do in Tokyo, Disney—greatest Disneyland ever—and the food is amazing," she further adds.

Castellano lists Australia as the next country. “This is the only place we've ever traveled to where we thought I could move here,” she says. “Why? Because the people are super nice. There are tons of kids here. There are lots of empty coastlines, which means empty beaches. It's a great place to learn how to surf. It's a good mix of like, mountain, ocean, wildlife. It has amazing restaurants, an amazing selection of healthy food, and it is just as easy to travel around as America.”

The mother goes on to talk about Greece, "I love Greece. The people here are so kind. They also are obsessed with kids. The food is amazing. It's also very naturally healthy, and my toddlers loved it."

After that, she talks about Switzerland: “There are so many things for the kids to do. Just so open, with so much space to run around. Incredible views. You can literally be at the park or like on a walk and it's like the coolest thing you've ever seen. Also, the gondolas are very fun for them. Cows on the side of the road everywhere. You can experience the snow in the summer, which is super fun. Also, there are endless lakes and hikes, it's very safe and clean and very easy to drive around. Also, public transportation is amazing."

The last destination that the mom lists is Thailand, “You guys when we went to Thailand I thought this is gonna be hard with the kids,” she says. “No, no, no, no. It was not hard. Why? Because everything is so cheap here. You can live like a king. We would get $3 massages every day and eat the most incredible Thai food, so cheap. You would go kayaking for like $6 through these caves, like go on boats, everything was amazing.”

Castellano goes on talk about the activity that her children loved the most in Thailand: “We went to an ethical elephant rehabilitation center. We got to make food for them and take them on walks. We got to bathe with them. My kids talk about this every single day. They have not stopped talking about this, and they will never stop talking about it because it changed their life.”

The video went viral with more than 300k views and many parents thanked the mother for sharing this insightful information. @nickellemick commented, "As an American living in Japan with a toddler. Agree." @sabinabegley wrote, "Now you need to do, worst places to travel with kids and why! So helpful." @mckenna_ _harris said, "I don’t have kids yet, not even pregnant but loved this breakdown of each place and now I want to travel to all these places!!"

@mari_uhoh expressed, "Thank you for this! But I love how you are exploring the world and taking your little ones with you because they also deserve to see the world."
