Mom shares tender declaration of love with 5-year-old on her birthday and we're in absolute tears

Listening to positive words from loved ones can change the course of life. Similarly, parents telling their kids how much they love them and how much they matter to them can make a huge difference in their lives. The same was evident in how this kid responded when her mother shared her heart with her. Danielle Eilers, a mom and content creator–who goes by @danielleeilers on TikTok–posted a video in which she told her daughter what she meant to her and her daughter became quite emotional.

In the video, Eilers is seen sitting with her daughter at a cafe. She moved her chair closer to her child and then said to her, "My life got so much better when you were born, and I feel so lucky that God gave you to me five years ago. I literally can't believe you're five." The kid is moved to tears after listening to these words from her mother. The mom continued, "You know what I love about you? How kind you are. I've been saying it since you were a baby. I wrote you a letter when you were six months old, and I said, 'I can feel the way you love me by how you look at me.'"

The child wiped her tears as the mom continued to affirm her. She told her, "You are going to change people's lives. You've changed my life by how much you love me and how well you love me. I'm so lucky to have you. I love you." The daughter then hugged Eilers and she told her, "So lucky! I don't know what I would do without you! I love you! You are my best friend." The mother said in the end, "There's so much I love about you, but that is such a gift. I feel like the gift God gave you is loving others. You are my best friend." She then asked her daughter if she wanted to wipe her tears and the child nodded her head. So, Eilers wiped her tears using a handkerchief. 

The video garnered nearly 20 million views on TikTok and was captioned, "Eve turned 5 today, and I took her to the American Girl store for shopping and lunch. I told her what I loved about her and she started tearing up and then my heart exploded, lol. You have to watch the whole thing!" @americangirl commented, "We are sobbing at work right now. Happiest of birthdays to Eve!! Check your DMs for a little extra special birthday magic."
