Toddlers just have a way with their parents. It is no secret that the moment a child enters their mother's life, they become the focus of their life. It does not take a long time for toddlers to figure this out and use their power of cuteness and tears to become the boss. Abigail Foudoulian is no different. She knows how much her parents love her and uses it to bend things as per her will. Her mother, Meghety Foudoulian—who goes by @mamamegthinks on TikTok—often takes to social media to share instances of being "nap-trapped" by her daughter. The video showcases that no matter how hard the mother might try, in the battle of wits, the daughter will always come out as a winner.

In one of her recent videos, Meghety shared how her daughter figured out her method of escape from the "nap trap" and improved on her strategy. The text overlay on the video read, "POV: you made sure mom doesn't sneak out this time." The video features Abigail holding on to Meghety's cheeks as she sleeps peacefully. Abigail has figured out that Meghety sneaks out when she puts her in for a nap. To make this endeavor difficult she is now trapping Meghety with her cheeks to make it difficult for her to move. In this position, if the mother even tries to make a move Abigail will wake up and wreak havoc- babystyle.

Meghety told TODAY, "I'm eternally nap-trapped." She further shared how Abigail was not always a light sleeper. At first, she used to sleep like an angel in her crib. Problems started two to three months ago which was a tad bit unfortunate as it was also the time the couple welcomed their second child, a son. They dipped a bit into the "cry it out" method of sleep training but quickly decided against it. They moved her to a big girl bed which is where the mastermind got to work. Abigail quickly realized that the bed was large enough for her parents to be tucked in with her and began to do everything she could to make sure that was the situation.

"Every time, she tries to kind of lock me in in a different way. And I have to wait until she's in a deep sleep to sneak out," Foudoulian said. Earlier, she used to put her hand in Meghety's sleeves to make sure her mother stayed in place. She quickly realized, this was not enough and went another way. Abigail began to hold on to her mother's cheeks to ensure that she slept beside her. This has become very important for Abigail as without her parents she refuses to sleep peacefully. Every time she felt them missing she woke up. "I would have to go up there again and do the whole procedure once more to be able to continue her nap," Foudoulian explained.

As a work-from-home employee, lack of comfortable sleep often becomes overwhelming for her. But the new mother has decided to take it in her stride. "For this season of our life, I'm just going to go with the flow," she said. "I don't know what's gonna happen later. But for now, we're just happy with what's going on." This suggestion is similar to what Emily Vondrachek shared in her "Nap Trapped" rap- "And when I stand, she opens her eyes; So I’m not gonna fight it; No need to struggle; For now, I’ll just enjoy this snuggle."

The comment section loved the adorable gesture and added their own experiences. @valerie_a_lawrence shared what her son does in this situation and wrote, "My beautiful baby boy has started grabbing my neck flab to make sure I don’t escape. #whathappenedtomylife" @txrunyogagirl shared how her son makes a mess of her hair during nap time and commented, "My son plays with my hair and tangles his hands in it as he falls asleep, which makes it so hard to get him into his crib and sneak away."
