Amusement parks can get expensive for a whole family if they pay for the food and rides. Often parents think that it's okay to spend that much money as it is vacation time but that's not the case with everyone. A mom and TikTok user @shaynddream shared a life hack that can surely save a lot of money during a trip to an amusement park. She starts the video by saying, "We went to a water park and they tried to make us pay for everything. But we not doing it."

"So we wrapped hotdogs in a gift wrap and acted like it was present and guess what? We had hot dogs for free and it was motherf**king good." In the video, she can be seen opening a present and taking out a hotdog from the gift box. Another family member also takes out a hotdog and enjoys it. The overlay text reads, "Bro my family is really ghetto AF."

The video soon went viral with 3.8 million views. It is captioned, "Food for free, lmfaooo at my voice over…" People on TikTok loved the idea that the mom shared. @user8389023114872 commented, "That’s not ghetto, but smart idea n brilliant !!! I can't be mad at this." @sade_1979 shared their own hack, saying, "I usually make sandwiches and wrap them in between the towels. We do the same for chips and drinks." @opiyemiwrites commented, "This is the life hack I never knew I needed. Meanwhile, @sidneyraz, a TikTok user also shared a hack that can be great for those who hate cake crumbs falling everywhere. The video starts with a clip from another video. It says, "Instead of cutting into a cake, if you cut in from the side, you won't have any of those cake crumbs dragging through the frosting." "What!?" says Sidney in the video. "Here's something I didn't know until I was in my 30s. A cake is supposed to be cut from the side to eliminate crumbs?" Then he can be seen cutting a cake from the side using a knife. "Cut from the side piece." He cuts another piece, but this time cuts downwards. "Sidepiece definitely has fewer crumbs. Cutting from the side is better," he concludes the video.

Omg." @queenofspades100 wrote, "Young man ABSOLUTELY THE WRONG KNIFE for either this hurts my soul but good to know." @tiffinierose pointed out, "I worked at a bakery part-time and a trick I learned is for more pieces you cut a circle in the cake to get more slices."
