Mom shares ‘best summer snack’ hack for toddlers and it is becoming a favorite among parents

Being a first-time mom can be an incredible experience but it comes with its own set of challenges. This TikTok user knows this and she has found her way around it. In a video uploaded by @ljflommom on her TikTok, she is seen using an ice tray to make something delicious for her little one. The text overlay on the video reads, "Things I wish I knew as a first-time mom." She used an apple banana flavor mix and is seen putting it on an ice tray. Then, she takes it to her refrigerator to freeze it and she covers the mix with these beautiful pacifiers that have unicorn and moon designs on them and one of them also reads, "dream big." 

Soon, she takes out the ice tray and we see the cute pacifiers as well. She takes it out and gives it to her little one. As for her child, they look happy to see it and look at the tiny ice cream with awe and fascination. It is truly an amazing idea to try making and serving these tiny ice creams at home. It is a delicious thing to serve to a child and it is homemade as well. Many of us have memories of our mother trying delicious recipes for us when were kids and these are some of our fondest memories." The video has been widely appreciated on TikTok as it has 42.4K likes and several comments on it. @CarlyBannanan wrote, "I give my son ice cream and ice lollies in the heat so why not these they will melt just the same lol." @Myimani shared, "So creative I love this . I would so try this for my son when he’s older but he hates pacifiers." @Ells_0105 expressed, "Great idea I do things like this for my girl." @kimbermay says, "This is probably great for toddlers. maybe not little babies who just learned to eat."

Mothers make so many efforts to bring joy to our lives. In another heartwarming story about a mother and her kids, a mom and TikTok user Jess (@learningencasita) came up with a perfect hack to help kids be entertained as well as learn a life skill that could be useful for them later. The mother uses printouts that have pictures of grocery items for her children to find in the store. The printouts are inside a plastic sheet so that when kids find a certain item, they can circle it with a dry-erase marker. For future trips, the mom can easily add new sheets and the plastic sheet can be cleaned.

The video begins with the mom holding the printed sheet and saying, "Come shopping with us while I teach my kids some life skills." She goes on to say that the first list is for her son because it has more descriptive items like the type of cheese that they like to get or milk and cookies. "The second list is for my daughter which is mostly her favorite items. That way it motivates her to keep an eye out for them," says the mom. What the mom did not expect was that this activity would be such a "grounding" activity for them. "It kept them so calm, so aware of their surroundings and they were really into it," explains the mother. The video has about 119k views and people have loved it for the right reasons.
