While it's an unspoken truth that household responsibilities and child care are shared duties of both parents, some men fail to understand this dynamic. But entrepreneur and social media influencer Julie Barboza is glad as her husband, Corey Stefanik, understands how parenting works. On their family's account Julie B & Corey (@julieandcorey) on TikTok, the mom shared a wholesome video of Stefanik's reaction when she pretended to fall asleep. The video with over 4.8 million views melted the hearts of many online.

Barboza can be seen setting up the camera to record her husband's reaction as she "pretended to be asleep while he worked from home." Before lying on the couch, the mom told her little daughter, "Tell dada I'm sleeping. Ok?" While the little one resumed her playing, the dad came into the room and found his wife fast asleep on the couch. He gently caressed Barboza's hair and proceeded to remove her glasses which she forgot to take off before sleeping. Meanwhile, seeing his toddler make some noise, Stefanik gestured for her to stay quiet because her mom might be disturbed.

As the little one adorably heeded her dad's instruction, the doting husband slowly covered his sleeping wife in a blanket. His sweet gestures didn't stop there. Knowing that their toddler's playing might wake up his wife, Stefanik took the little one out for a stroll. The father-daughter duo shared a cute moment as the little girl cycled along the sidewalk with her dad accompanying her by the side. Despite having to work from home, Stefanik chose to give his wife some alone time, not knowing that she was actually pretending to be asleep.

Hundreds of users showered their adoration for the thoughtful husband in the comments. "As a glasses girly, I love the taking off glasses when I’m too tired to," said @jonella6. "As a pregnant stay-at-home mom with 2 children under the age of 3, I take naps yet when I do, I get told I don’t do anything. House is clean, kids are fed and taken care of, I envy this," chimed in @mamironi2022. "Daddy to the rescue. That is so adorable he let you sleep in and took her outside to play. That is a real father figure," lauded @californialifeliving.

In yet another heartwarming video, Barboza asked if her husband could "babysit" their child to see his reactions. Once again, Stefanik captured the internet's hearts with his wholesome response. When the mom told him that she had plans on Friday, asking if he could "babysit" their daughter, his first reaction was, "Babysit? Who are you babysitting?"

Stefanik did not prefer the word "babysit" and he said, "I'll watch our child. What are you talking about? You don't call it babysitting our kid. You don't babysit your kid." When his wife continued to prank him with the "babysit" word, he laughed and said, "Spend quality time? Have a daddy-daughter day? Sure." On realizing his wife was pulling his leg, Stefanik laughed and told her, "No I can't babysit. I'll hang out with her and watch her." The loving father never wanted to feel like he was "babysitting" his kid, though his wife was just joking and insisted that he would have a nice daddy-daughter time while his wife was away.
