Mom living in a trailer park eloquently puts snobby user in their place for looking down on her home

Parents will go out of their way to give their kids a happy and fulfilling life rather than a luxurious one. Of late, many parents and other adults are opting for unique lifestyles and a major part of it includes the homes they choose to live in. Many are adopting a more affordable home rather than posh houses or apartments for cost-efficient and quality living. Mom of 3, Patience Wolfe–who goes on TikTok by @trailerparkpretti–has been doing the same with her family. She has been living and raising her family happily in a trailer home for quite some time. However, when she was called out for her decision, she set her critics right.

Wolfe has been posting hauls where she shows the wonderfully budget-friendly items she picks up from stores like Walmart, Sam's Club and so on. She follows financial cautiousness while spending, which is evident in the items she usually purchases. However, she often takes trips to stores and buys items that are cheap and enhance her lifestyle. In a recent video, she shared her Christmas haul, where Wolfe is seen holding huge bags of items. She shared the items she bought with her viewers, which included clothing, homeware, toys and other items especially for her children. 

"I feel like a lot of people are doing a lot of early Christmas shopping, they're prepared," Wolfe said towards the end of the video. While her video received over 800 comments, not all seemed to be positive. Many commenters did appreciate her tips and tricks for buying low-cost items, but others criticized the mom. @godisgreat0923 said, "Did you ever think that if you would stop shopping so much, you could get a real home?" While over 600 replies backed the mom up about her decision to live in a trailer park home, the woman decided to set things right herself.

She posted a follow-up video sharing her response to the comment. With background music, there was a text overlay displaying her response. It read, "Yeah because where I live isn't acceptable in this judgemental world, right?" She then called out a massive stereotype, saying, "It's sad… If you don't live in a big fancy house with a white picket fence, you're automatically looked down on." Wolfe then shared her experiences and struggles she faced as a child. She said, "As someone who spent many nights wondering where I'd sleep, I'm beyond thankful to call my trailer home."

The mom then shared an important reminder, "Some of us came here with nothing. No support, no guidance, no inheritance, we just out here doing it all on our own." Finally giving a straightforward response to the comment, Wolfe said, "No, my home is fine and dandy. I'll keep on shopping while you keep counting my pockets." Many fellow moms and adults supported Wolfe's words.
