Mom has the most hilariously adorable reaction after accidentally photobombing son's proposal video

You really have to up your game to propose to your partner, especially when several new trends and unique methods are being added to the dictionary of heart-melting proposals. Many people take different approaches, be it humor, emotional, sentimental and so on. With this, the whole concept of surprising and proposing is being taken up a notch each day. While the act is wholesome in itself, the reactions are more adorable. Similarly, Jennifer Araujo–who goes on the platform by @jenniferaraujo737–shared a video on TikTok of her partner proposing to her in Italy. The twist her partner’s mom added made the entire event hilariously beautiful. 

In an earlier video, Araujo and her partner are seen doing a trend at different places in Italy, striking a prominent pose in a transition. As they move on in the trend, it ultimately reaches the part where she proudly and happily shows off her engagement ring on her finger. While several people applauded the aesthetically adorable young couple, Araujo went on to share the behind-the-scenes of the video, which involved her partner’s mother. In the next video, the mom was supposedly meant to record the proposal, which was staged as a surprise. The overlay text of the video reads, “Your boyfriend gives his mom the phone to record the proposal.” 

The mom did a brilliant job as she captured the duo doing the trend and Araujo’s partner was just about to get down on his knee when his mom accidentally switched on the selfie camera and hilariously caught glimpses of herself instead of the couple. Completely unaware of her error, the proposal went on. Araujo’s video then went viral for having her partner’s mom “photobomb” their proposal. What makes the amusing act wholesome is that the mom herself was trying to get the video right and her expressions and efforts were simply heartwarming.

The viral video has garnered over 8M views and 875K likes. With over 4k comments, users had their hearts melting at the innocence and loving intentions of the mom. Many users noticed the expressions the mom gave after turning the camera towards herself. @jadehatescake said, “There’s no way! How did it flip?” @chefboyareyoudumb said, “I feel so bad for her. You can tell she was distressed when she realized it was on her face.” @lynodyno said, “She looked like she was gonna cry, tell her it’s okay.” @livvymack69 hilariously remarked, “Moms! The main question and horror in every viewer’s mind was whether the couple was able to capture their proposal as a core memory. @smelldeezmugs asked, “Please please please tell me there was someone else taking another video.” To this, Araujo replied with another video relieving many. She shared that her partner’s dad was indeed taking another video and managed to capture the memorable event. This video successfully captured the man getting down on his knee, holding the ring box and saying something to Araujo. The woman herself is seen sealing the deal with a “yes.” All in all, the proposal went well and was captured nicely with the added expression of the mom for the couple to treasure for a lifetime!
