Mom gets the sweetest maternity photoshoot ever thanks to her budding toddler photographer

A maternity photoshoot is a special moment for the mother and the unborn child. But for one mom, this moment became even more beautiful when her toddler took her pictures. A mom of four, Skye Hitchcock—who goes by @skyehitchcock on TikTok—shared a video of her son directing her during her maternity photoshoot. People on the platform loved the adorable mother-son moment. 

The video began with the text overlay, "I asked my son to take photos of me, turns out he's a photographer in the making." In the wholesome clip, Hitchcock is seen standing in a garden, looking stunning in a white dress. She holds her baby bump and poses for the camera as her young son is heard telling the mom, "Rub the baby," in a cute voice. She rubs her belly and looks at the camera with a pretty smile. The little one then says, "Cheese" and Hitchcock holds her bump and smiles into the camera. The child responds to this by saying, "That looks good." Next, the toddler tells his mom to sit down. When the mother clarifies with him whether she should sit on her knees or her bum, he asks her to sit on her bum.

The mom sits down while holding her bump. The child then asks her to look up. She tries but struggles for a few seconds as the sun is very bright. When she finally manages to strike a pose while looking at the sun, the boy says, "You look so beautiful." After this, the child tells his mother to smell a flower, just like an expert photographer would. Then he asks her to look at the baby in her belly and tells his mother, "You look pretty." In awe of what her child said, the mom asks him, "Thank you, baby! Why are you so sweet?" The video ends with him saying, "Because" and walking up to his mother.

The video had garnered over eight million views. It was captioned, "How much should I pay him?" People were impressed by the toddler's photography skills. @pickle.girl727 commented, "Please, please, please get him a camera. Encourage him. He has actual talent." @isabellezversion wrote, "'Why you so sweet?' 'Because…' probably because of you, mama. That shows how sweet you probably are."

In another video, the child is again seen directing the mother on how to pose with his sister. It starts with the text overlay, "I asked my son to take photos of me and his little sister and it turns out he is a photographer in the making." He first asks Hitchcock to look at her daughter and says, "That's cute." Next, he tells the mom to hold the baby up in the air. "That's so cute and I can see her smile," he says when his mother strikes his requested pose. After this, he requests the mom to sit down with the baby and asks her to scoot to the left. The video ends with him asking the mom to kiss the baby. "You guys are so pretty," he expresses.
