She shared that her son made the card for Father's Day crafts at school. She captioned the post, "I got this while packing my son's school bag today. He was the best mother and father a girl could ever have." u/Substantial-Rope-578 said, "You do double the work. You get double the credit. Even a child understands that." u/flanamacca expressed, "You may be all he's got, but he's got what he needs. And that is the most important and valuable. Kudos."

In a similar story, a mom named Ruthie Hagmann, posted a video on Instagram where she can be seen opening a gift from her 8-year-old. The first gift she opened was a doll's glasses, a hint of her actual gift. She was quite emotional seeing it because her son had been asking her for the past year what her favorite toy was as a kid. Her son was seen handing over a big gift box to her mother and she already knew what was in there. The inside red box read, "American girl." She opened the box and said, "Molly, it's my Molly." The text overlay read, "He truly healed my inner child with this gift. I can't believe how sweet he is. I'll never forget this Christmas."
