When a child does something away from their parents for the first time, the experience can be quite overwhelming for both parties. A mom whose little boy was going on a school bus for the first time experienced the same feelings until a few kids from the neighborhood stepped up and promised to have his back. The internet was in awe of the sweet gesture by the young children that reassured the mom and the little boy. This heartwarming interaction was posted by @65lady on TikTok.

As the video began, the mom couldn't hold back her tears as she was about to drop her son off at the bus stop. The boy clung to his mom's leg, unwilling to let go while she cried. "I’m going to the bus too. He has friends there," a woman behind the camera told the mom, who was inconsolable. "Do you know what I mean?" The mom wouldn't stop crying until an older boy in a blue hoodie, possibly the family's neighbor, stepped forward and said to the woman, "He's on me," then gave her a big hug. "That's so sweet of you. Come on, I'm going to watch him," the person behind the camera expressed.

"I will watch him, me and my friends," the kid promised. The woman seemed reassured that her son would have people to look out for him on the bus. Another boy in a red T-shirt also promised to look out for the child. "They’re going to be watching him for you. That's so sweet," someone repeated. The boy in the blue hoodie told the little one in Spanish that he had his back and would fight anyone who touched him.

"That's awesome! You all need to find some neighboring kids like this," a woman remarked as all the kids walked toward the bus together. "I want to cry. Thank you all so much." Another person advised, "You all take care of him. You all take care of each other."

"You all ready to get on the bus?" the person asked. The woman, who seemed to be the kids' teacher, waved at the camera as everyone prepared to board the bus. The video received over 7 million views and more than a million likes. People took to the comments section to appreciate the sweet gesture from the little kids. @mar7ru wrote, "He said 'El Que lo toque, lo agarro' you all, HE GOT HIS BACK!!
