Mom cries tears of joy as her twins fly in to surprise her for the 60th birthday

Empty nesters find it very hard to get on with their lives without their kids. Parents spend their entire lives raising children and when they move away, it is a bittersweet experience for them. This mom also had both of her children move further away from home. However, they decided to fly in as a surprise for her 60th birthday. The woman's niece—who goes by @jaimeprestigiacomo on TikTok—shared the mom's reaction upon seeing her children.

The text overlay read, "It's my aunt's 60th birthday and her twins flew in to surprise her. One lives on the West Coast and the other is on active duty in the Marines." As the video, begins, the woman is talking to some of her family members as her daughter sneaks up behind her. It takes the mom a moment to turn around and see her daughter, but when she does that she simply can't hold back. The daughter joked, "Can we start you off with some appetizers?" She flailed her arms in shock and then proceeded to hide her face behind her hands, probably getting emotional.

In the meantime, her son comes and stands behind her as well. However, as the mom is still in shock after seeing her daughter, she doesn't notice him. In a different video with the original sound of the party playing, one family member said, "Couldn't get the other one, sorry!" The mom looked up to see her daughter, still unaware that her son was standing on the other side. This made the other family members erupt in a fit of laughter. The daughter told her mom to look where her brother was standing. When the woman looked at her smiling son standing there she let out a gasp swearing, "What the f***!"

The children kept smiling and looking at their mom lovingly as she put a hand on her heart and started crying. The family cheered as the twins gave the woman the warmest hug. It seemed as if the mom couldn't believe her eyes. The original video received around 12.9 million views and 1.9 million likes. People took to the video's comments section to send love and good wishes to the beautiful family.
