Mom asks teen daughter to rate her celebrity crushes from the 80s and 90s and it’s a laugh riot

Having celebrity crushes is pretty common and it's best to believe that your parents had one too when they were teens. Maybe they still have celebrity crushes we don't know about. One mom named Erin—who goes by @erinisa_vibe on TikTok—decides to reveal her celebrity crushes to her 13-year-old daughter. Erin used to be a teenager back in the 80s and 90s so her crushes naturally come from male celebs from that era. However, she decided to put a fun twist in her video.

"I am here with my 13-year-old daughter and I am going to show her all my crushes and heartthrobs of the late 80s and early 90s and find out what she has to say about them," Erin starts her video before bringing in her teen daughter in the frame. She tells her that she is allowed to rate them on a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 will be considered the best score. The first picture that pops up in the background of their video belongs to Tom Cruise from his 80s blockbuster "Top Gun." However, Erin's daughter rates him only 5, wondering why is "his head so large." Next up, she rates Val Kilmer with a 6.

The teen ends up giving a 9 to Leonardo DiCaprio's shot from "Romeo+Juliet" to which Erin rejoices because she still has a crush on DiCaprio. The next image that pops up behind the mom and daughter is of Johnny Depp from his film "Crybaby" and the youngster ends up rating him just 2. Erin appears to get shocked over her low scores and questions if she knows who that really is. Erin informs her daughter that it's Captain Jack Sparrow from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise when her daughter thinks it might be some "Elvis Presley wannabe." The last picture is of Jared Leto with his long hair which gets the lowest score of -2 from Erin's daughter and the video cuts off abruptly.

The TikTok video's comment section was flooded with debates and shocking reactions from many women who grew up fawning over the 80s and 90s celebrity heartthrobs. They especially wondered how Erin's daughter could give Johnny Depp and Jared Leto such a low score when they were the ones dominating the hearts of millions of teens from that era. @sunnykates suggested: "My So-Called Life is on Hulu. Jordan, Usher, Gavin Casalegno and Chris Hemsworth. But Erin was pretty picky just like her daughter. Except for rating Usher a 9 out of 10, she was not increasing her scores for other guys on the list. People in the comment section were particularly shocked when Erin gave Hemsworth a mere 2. In the end, Erin's daughter jokingly responded by telling Erin, "You are not my mom anymore."
