How one family chooses to raise their kids may not align with the values of others. But when it comes to schooling, the majority of parents in the world would accept that kids need a formal education. However, one British mom begs to differ. Cassyanne Clark, an influencer and a millionaire entrepreneur working in the health and aesthetics industry, expressed her plan to stop sending her kids to school during "My Extraordinary Family" show on YouTube's Truly channel. Clark considers school to be a "prison" for a child's development and the internet has mixed opinions.

Clark revealed that she pulled her two daughters, 9-year-old Bug and 8-year-old Bunny, out of school earlier this year. The pregnant mom who was expecting a boy, Johnny Blue, spoke about the difference in her family's lives before and after taking her kids out of school. She said that school days used to start with a rush and were always hectic but now things have slowed down. "On Monday, the children have tutoring and education and then every single day I work on my own hours and they kind of work around me. So when I'm not working we have an education and then playtime. They'll do cooking, they'll do cleaning and they'll learn about being domestic as well as have an education at home," Clark explained.

Having dropped out of school at the age of 14 herself, the mom always knew that her daughters wouldn't continue school for long. "I don't like what's being taught in school. I believe a child learns more from the freedom outside the school rather than sitting in a classroom for six to eight hours," Clark said. Turns out, Bug and Bunny didn't have a say while dropping out of school. "If they still want to go to school, university or college, they can but for now they go by my rules while they live under my house," the mom added. While Bug missed nothing about school, Bunny missed her friends from school. The kids were happy about not having to study Math or English though.

The girls' father was fine with them dropping out of formal education too. "Especially their background being travelers, they do come out of education early anyway," Clark explained. However, Clark's mom Angelika wasn't supportive of denying the kids a formal education. "My mom is anti-taking-them-out-of-school," Clark pointed out. "Life is about learning the negative things. For children it's important these days to learn certain skills you cannot give them at home," Angelika told her daughter. Clark questioned her mom about what the school offers and Angelika replied in one word, "Education."

The kids' grandma thought that the kids were too young to be taken out of school. But Clark stood her ground saying that school was "a box" that would trap a child's development. Adding that Johnny would be pulled out of school around the same age too, she also took a jibe at naysayers that her children would live life on their terms. This sparked a debate in the comments. "People have to realize she said they were, 'travelers.' In their culture so to speak most kids are pulled out by eighth grade. That is the way she was raised," said @alaskapeach in support. "She says they have tutoring and do home education. They just do that around their mom's schedule," added @kayleecharles6307.

But most social media users had the same opinion as Clark's mom. "The education system is not perfect, but that does not mean I'm keeping my kids home. This lady is ruining her kids' chances of a good future. They have such a better chance of being independent with a complete education," commented @penelopeviews7335. "These girls need social interactions with kids their age. Do not rob them of this time in their lives," chimed in @theylied1776.
