The 'Sway' singer recently appeared on a talk show to reveal how his 6-year-old daughter is a fan of the rapper and now they have a special bond.
Michael Bublé recently shared a heartwarming story about his daughter Vida’s unexpected friendship with none other than Snoop Dogg. During an appearance on "Late Night With Seth Meyers," the 49-year-old singer opened up about his bond with 6-year-old Vida and how it helped him connect with the rap icon. Bublé explained to Meyers that he first realized Vida was a big fan of Snoop Dogg, and the story just got sweeter from there.
"When I went to go meet Snoop the first time, out of the blue, Vida said, 'Papi, are you going to sing with Snoop Dogg?' I said, 'Yeah, honey, how do you know Snoop Dogg?'" 6-year-old Vida quickly prompted their home's Alexa device to play Snoop Dogg's hit track, "Affirmation." She even started to sing along with the lyrics that went: "My family loves me so much." Vida, who is still a kindergarten student, revealed to her dad that her teacher plays Dogg's song from time to time. The teacher also plays an animated show starring Snoop Dogg as Bow Wizzle in "Snoop Dogg's Doggyland" each morning.
Vida then asked if she could make a video for Snoop, and Bublé happily agreed. "So I made a video, and when I met Snoop the first time, you know, like, I want to be cool. I was like, I'm cool guy, you know?" he joked. "And I said, 'I got to show you. Like, my daughter,' and I showed him, and he was so cute. It really, it really moved him. Like, he's a beautiful soul. He's a beautiful soul. And he goes, 'Mike. Mike. You're telling me in Vancouver that those kindergarteners listen to Uncle Snoop every day?'" Dogg further revealed that he made the animated show for his grandkids and believed that "it is important to reach them in a positive way."
The talk show host shared the short clip of Bublé's daughter on the set of the long-running reality show "The Voice," where Dogg met his little fan for the first time. They even jammed together and sang the "Affirmations" song. "She loves him. Like sometimes he'll call and literally it's not to talk to me. He'll be like, it's like, 'Uncle Snoop's calling to say hi to the kids,'" Bublé concluded. Other than Vida, the "Holly Jolly Christmas" singer is a father to three other kids with his wife, Luisana Lopilato, per PEOPLE. The four-time Grammy winner often shares bits and pieces of his family life on Instagram.

Bublé and Lopilato’s eldest son, Noah, is 11. He was diagnosed with cancer at age 3 but went into remission after 18 months of treatment, leaving the hospital in 2017. Their second son, Elias, is 8, followed by 6-year-old Vida Amber Betty. Bublé and Lopilato had their fourth child, a daughter named Cielo Yoli Rose, in 2022. The singer also told PEOPLE in May 2022 that their fourth baby would likely be their last. "I want it to be really special for Luisana and I know it goes really fast. Since it's probably the last one, I just want to make sure that we're really enjoying every second of it," Bublé said back then.
