No matter how much people doubt the advice received from the internet, they still reach out to it from time to time to get answers to some very important life questions. And that's exactly what this woman did. Gabriella–who goes by @canihaveitspicy on TikTok–asked in a video whether it is worth living with a man and if it is something she should look forward to. People gave some interesting answers that have given us some food for thought.

In the video, Gabriella is seen wearing a cap and a maroon top and asking the camera, "I wanna know from women over 35 if cohabitating with men is really worth it. Is that something that I really should be looking forward to in my life?" The video was captioned, "Drop the tea please, so I can plan my life out." Married women didn't mince their words in the comments. @thelaurenlucille commented, "Happily married here.  And I say this without weirdness - but if he dies first (and he knows this, lol) - I will not do it again." @just_ginger_rose wrote, "Absolutely not! No! Partnership can be lovely, but I would strongly recommend keeping your personal space and keeping your finances separate. - Mom."

@laur_ugh shared, "Only if you have a competent, loving and caring partner. My husband cooks, cleans and does grocery shopping more than I do because I work longer hours. He's emotionally intelligent and supportive. Just find the right guy who cares." @indiamarylu expressed, "At the beginning of my relationship, I would have said, 'Yes! It's the best.' Now, 10 years in, I say, 'Keep everything separate. Do not live with a man no matter how in love you think you are.'" @myfavoritemusee said, "12 years into marriage and I’d never do it again. I’m not unhappy in the relationship, but please leave my house." @apollo.2018 said, "38 here, I found one that cleans up after himself and splits chores with me... so it’s like a slumber party with my best friend most of the time, but sometimes I miss having my own space."

A TikTok creator named Paige Turner (@sheisapaigeturner), responded to Gabriella's video and said that marriage is not good for women. "It's been said before, but I'll say it again, marriage isn't really good for women. Women don't benefit from being married to men," she expressed. She pointed out that many married women in the comments section of the video said they would never live with a man again. She went on to say that this speaks volumes about the dynamics that exist in our culture.

"When men get married, they expect their wives to take care of them. To cook for them, clean for them, take care of the children and have children for them. And they go off and work, but in today's world, these women are also working and so not only they are working full-time and do exponentially more work in the home than their partner," she said in the video. She added that even if men want to help, they need to be given lists and it's exhausting for women. She concluded by saying that marriage benefits men and it doesn't benefit women in the same way. "Which is why so many women say they would never do it again," she said.

@sheisapaigeturner Replying to @Lauren Lucille the dynamics and modern marriage don’t make sense for women often times. When women get married they often find themselves doing more work. They take on the burden of the domestic labor and childcare well also working outside the home. We need to change the dynamics so that marriage benefits everyone. #millennialmarriage #marriageadvice #marriageadviceformen #divorcedwomen #sahmlife #mentalload #domesticlabor #mentalloadofmotherhood ♬ original sound - Paige
