The 52-year-old actor who is known for strictly staying in shape confessed there's another family member who is even more disciplined.
Mark Wahlberg is so disciplined that he even starts his day early... and we mean WAY early! The 52-year-old actor goes to bed at 7:30 p.m. and wakes up at 3:30 a.m. to work out, pray and then get his kids (Ella, 20, Michael, 17, Brendan, 15 and Grace, 13) up. The actor who shares four children with his wife Rhea Durham, admitted that it was his daughter Grace, a competitive horseback rider, who is "more disciplined" than himself.
"My daughter—believe it or not—is more disciplined than me," Wahlberg told E! News in an interview published on November 25. "I didn't adopt that kind of discipline until I was in my 30s and I had to do it because of work. And now she does it on her own because she wants to be an Olympian." The "Ted" star added, "I always thought the Patriots going to the Super Bowl was the most nerve-racking experience I've ever had. It's nothing like watching my daughter on a horse."

There's no doubt that Grace has a special place in Wahlberg's heart. The youngest of Mark Wahlberg's four kids looks just like him, according to the doting dad. Earlier this year, the actor shared a photo of his teen daughter, along with a throwback photo of himself where he had his hair grown long, bearing a striking resemblance to her. "They say we look alike?" he captioned the side-by-side photos on Instagram.

Wahlberg previously quipped that Grace picked the "most expensive" hobby by pursuing horseback riding. While appearing on The Tonight Show, the fitness enthusiast joked about looking forward to an empty nest when host Jimmy Fallon pointed out that Wahlberg's youngest was only 12 at the time.
The "Uncharted" star added, "She's already traveling the world, jumping horses and doing her thing. Of course, she picked the most expensive sport possible," he laughed. Even then, he never talked Grace out of the sport when she expressed an interest. "She loves it," he told Fallon. "And she takes so much pride in the little stuff—she's at the barn every day, shoveling poop. She's up before me. She's got my work ethic."

As for the Massachusetts native, he is not just focused on work and fitness but also "spiritual fitness." "Everything revolves around my faith, right? So I just get up, express my gratitude and then, you know—a constant reminder of all the things that I need to do to continue to grow and evolve and do my part," he told TODAY in October. "I'm very fortunate, very blessed and those gifts have been given to me to utilize in ways that will help and better others."

While he is Catholic, he does not force his religion on his kids, he told TODAY's Hoda Kotb last April. "They know that Dad can't start the day without being in prayer, can't start the day without reading my Scripture or going to Mass. Hopefully, instead of forcing that on them, they'll say, 'Well, if it works for Dad, maybe it'll work for us' and they'll kind of gravitate towards it on their own."
