Advertising is a huge part of selling products. Businesses have now started using every social media platform to advertise their products. Taking inspiration from these big companies, Jack Kiernan, a 55-year-old man who owns a business on Trimgate Street in Navan, Ireland, also started posting videos on TikTok. One such video of his has taken the internet by storm. People have been wanting to visit his establishment and buy shoes from him after watching the video.
In the 34-second video, Kiernan, wearing an orange sweater with a checked shirt and a pair of blue jeans, was seen talking about the new shoes that had arrived at his shop. His excitement and the way he talked about the shoes were what really caught people's attention. He adds, "That’s good news for you." Next, he picked up another black shoe, which was from the brand, Adidas. He says, "We also have our old favorite, "Copia Mundial" in by Adidas. The complete molded boot. Very comfortable."
That’s it. I’m booking a flight to Ireland and buying a pair of Puma Kings from Jack Kiernan's shop. What a man pic.twitter.com/DgwWe3NA1N

Good on ya Jack."
Have never had a single reason to visit Navan, now I do.

@ThomasTParker expressed, "The absolute best thing about Irish towns is that, unlike in England, proper, independent sports shops still seem as prevalent as ever - usually run by a charismatic old boy like this who do it as a complete labor of love. They must be protected at all costs." @StevenBirrell shared, "Jack might be the reason I end up on TikTok. Just want to go to Ireland and give him all my money and see if he’ll let me hang about his shop all day." @mattyt339 said, "Reminds me of the sports shop in my local town back in the 80s…Not there now obviously it’s a coffee shop or something."
You book the flights & we will look after you 😉 can't beat the puma kings or the copas!!

Kiernan spoke to Sunday World about going viral on the internet. He said, "Sure, I don’t pass any remarks to that, my daughter does that. I don’t even have a phone!” He added that he just has an old flip phone. He started his business with his father in the 1960s and has witnessed a lot of changes. "I worked in Kells for four years and then myself and my dad decided we would open another branch in Navan. We are very busy, it’s a nice, independent shop. We’ve been here since 1968," he shared. According to him, the most important thing is customer service.
Kiernan said that his daughter, Louise, handles all the online stuff and that Puma King is a huge seller. "It has made a big comeback, a wonderful boot. Most of the Meath teams wore them from 87-2005," he recalled. Speaking about modern trends, he noted that while many kids like colorful boots, a lot of them are also returning to black boots. "The black boots are strong. You would want to be good to be wearing the colorful boots," he said. Kiernan concluded by saying that he is happy he is working and that's what he likes doing.
