Man shares his hilarious analysis of what millennials like to do in their spare time, revealing some relatable truths.
As people grow older, they develop their own preferences for the way they want to spend their spare time. Most people tend to become very picky about how they choose to spend their time. And even when they do have a social gathering, they tend to want to leave quickly. TikTok creator Jordan Howlett (@jordan_the_stallion8) recently shared a video where he discussed how people in their 30s and 40s choose to spend their time. The video has gone viral with 8.1 million views on the social media site.
Howlett began the video by sharing how people do not understand that 35 and 45-year-olds simply do not hang out at all in the first place. He says, "Once you reach the age of 35 to 40, the top three things that you do not like are loud noises, people and traffic." This meant that people in this age group are very reluctant to go out with other people. Instead, they want to be in their houses, ready for bed by nine in the night.
Howlett explained that people enjoy staying at the homes that they are making monthly payments for. The creator rephrased it, saying, "The idea of leaving a house they have to make monthly payments on does not sound enticing in the slightest."He shared how millennials develop this lifestyle called "NTFF," which is an abbreviation for "No Time For Foolishness." The situation is not too different for people who have families.
They like hiding out in their car, listening to their music and just being left alone. He says, "I promise you this: ask a 35 to 45-year-old if they want to hang out outside past nine, alright? They're gonna say no with their eyes before they say no with their mouths." The creator concluded by sharing how he used to have a coworker who was 39 years old who put up a notice on the bulletin board revealing how he stayed at home and had no plans. However, this did not mean that he would cover others' shifts.
People fully agreed with the man's take on the subject and shared their thoughts in the comments section. @kptizzle8 said, "No lies were told. Plans must be made at least 10-15 business days ahead of time." @storm_423 shared, "I don't even want people knocking on my door! If you didn't call first, don't come over; even if you did, don't come over!" @homemadehobo commented, "As a 36-year-old dad, this is true. If I don't get things done while heading home from work, it's tomorrow's problem."
Another individual, @the_bloke_, said, "I used to sneak out of home to go to parties. Now I sneak out of parties to go home." @filipino_mayhem said, "We are literally in our living rooms, eating, watching movies or playing games. I said what I said, lol."
