The infamous Millennial-Gen Z conflict seems like a never-ending fad on the internet. One notable argument is how Millennials rock their youthfulness, leaving the Gen Zs scratching their heads and coming up with the most insane reasons. Is it their passion for skincare, their amusing childhood before social media or their effortless ability to stay in shape? Not certain. But one Gen Z man, Jordan Howlett–who goes by @jordan_the_stallion8 on TikTok–went viral for his one-of-a-kind explanation for why Millennials in their 30s or 40s look as though they are in their 20s. With the most serious face, the man put forward a hilarious reasoning.

Stitching with another social media user who laid out the million-dollar question, "Can somebody please explain to me why this generation of 30- to 40-year-olds look like they are in their 20s and 20-year-olds look like they are in their early 40s?" Howletts' response to this was that the expectations back then were different. He further explained that the only thing Millennials had to worry about when they were children was to get back home before the street lights turned on. He believes people still don't understand how Millennials are "fully grown adults that stayed young mentally."

Howlett pointed out the childhood Millennials had where they played outside with their friends. "If you don't believe me, ask anyone in their thirties and their forties about their favorite TV show or video game growing up. Watch them get excited and revert right back to a kid explaining how the time was back then and how they miss it," he said. Now so far, the Gen Z man speaks as though he was getting onto an interesting point. Just then, his sense of humor popped out! Howlett emphasized that when Millennials were playing outside with friends, they drank the water from the hose outside. "I'm almost certain there was something in that water," he added with a serious face.

He pointed out that this magic water "encapsulated their youth, kept their skin clear and slowed down their aging process." So, now, the only thing that changed in Millennials as they became adults was them transitioning from an extrovert to an introvert. Also, the expectations that people have for those in their 20s weren't missed out. "You need to have a full six-figure job and a great credit score by the age of 12. And if you don't have it by then, then you're already behind," Howlett quipped. He concluded that, despite being in his 20s, he was still mistaken for the same age as his dad. In fact, Howlett was quite younger than Zendaya and he was frustrated that people never believed it.

The Gen Z man's sarcastic take on this aging conflict garnered over 4 million views. "Millennials are called the nostalgia generation. So much has changed so rapidly in our lifetimes. The only thing we can hold on to that was good was our childhood. So we stayed there," said @carleybear. "Turns out, when our parents said, 'Go outside, it's good for you,' they were right," gagged @nipsysdad. "Less technology. We grew up not having our hands on and always outside playing," added @prettyoldme85.
